Keep going with it! My friend made a B in our Circuit Analysis class and I swear, he knows more of the real "applicationy" stuff that most of us who make A's. When you go into the industry, you'll be able to look that stuff up or use circuit programs like PSpice. No employer is going overlook you just because you made an B in Circuit Analysis. Good luck!

Do you have doubts about the knowledge you have gained in four years of college? I assume you are getting a degree, which means that you must have completed all of the requirements. I received my electrical engineering degree quite a few years ago and I even though I graduated within the top 10% of my class, there were times when I questioned how much I really learned. I think it is true, that the more you learn, the more you become aware of what you don't know. A B.S. degree shows an employer that you can stick with a structured program for at least four years, and gives some assurances that you are trainable and probably reliable. School provides you with basic principals, but most of how it is applied in the real world you will learn on the job. If you did poorly in some of the critical coursework, I'd recommend retaking those classes. They will no doubt be much easier the second time around and it will really help to solidify your knowledge.

If it was me and you're questioning your major i would start taking classes that would transfer to any other major i wanted,. Take math/writing or what ever else. Then take a one/few electrical engineering classes. This would give yourself time to find out what you really want to do. Without locking you into that major.

As for getting a B it doesn't matter. If the test was open book could have got an A? If so then you're doing fine. Real life is open book man. No one remembers it all. We all have to look information up.

It's a difficult major so keep going if you enjoy the concepts. There will be classes you don't like (I think my Dad still has flashbacks of his E&M course).

Remember B is above average. I know a lot of other majors have trended to B being the average but in engineering that's not usually the case.

Good luck.

I'd stick with it. You won't solve circuits problems that way long, so you did well. Just watch out for those e-mag classes.

Is better to work harder and learn what you did not know.

If you got all A's without even trying, it would mean you were not challenging yourself, and without challenging yourself, you will not grow...
