I've heard stories of people having near death experiances such as commas and then when they came back to life they said they were in heaven or hell. How do you think these places look like from a creative point of view. What do you think the devil himself looks like and how God looks like?!

Have you ever met somone who had a near death experiance?

If they came back, they were never really dead, were they?

I think that Heaven will look like the overall agreement on what humanity thinks it will look like. That means for the most part, very bright, golden archways, white marble pillars, elegant statues and carvings, waterfalls, dancing fountains, dense greenery and trees, flowers unlike any to be found on Earth, etc.

Now keep in mind that none of these are physical, but I think they'll be present anyway. Sort of like how you can see, touch, taste, etc. in a dream, but it's not physical. That doesn't mean it's not "real", because I think reality is all in the mind anyhow. But I'm not going to start a dissertation on the nature of reality here in this post.

I also think that we have a limited capacity to alter our surroundings as well. At will we would be able to conjure whatever we wish, simply by concentrating on it. Likewise, others would be able to conjure things or dispel them at will. But being as how at that point we should be enlightened enough to respect others' wishes, I don't think there will really be any battles over creation up there. (i.e. One guy wants a tree, one guy wants a fountain, so they keep destroying each others' creations.)

This is the Biblical description of heaven.
The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life.

So many questions...

1. I think these people (understandably) had a traumatic experience and went into shock, thus suscepting themselves to illusions of heaven and hell.

2. They look like whatever you want them to look like- after all, you created them.

3. The devil is pretty hard to describe, since he only exists in the minds of others...

4. God is the epitome of beauty- She's pure love.

5. Yes- I have. I was "brought back", so to speak, twice after a complication from bariatric surgery when I was 18. It changed the way I looked at things, that's for sure. I'm now very sure of myself when it comes to religion- everyone has one. No one else's is better. No one's going to die in a fiery pit of doom.

Theirs 1000s of levels .planes of existence.spiritual cities.oceans of love.theirs so many places in heaven that it would take 10.000s of volumes of books to describe it all.where i will go first i hope is that part of heaven where they have all of nature like it is here on this planet .and to the place where Christians go to.so i can see my family and friends and then i will go on and be a co worker hopefully with God in some capacity.May the holy spirit guide you in this life and lead you to heaven one fine day. Peace

That's more than one question.

Both God and Satan are spiritual beings so they don't "look like" anything. They exist in another realm.

I have not met anyone who had an near death experience.

Just like earth. There is no heaven or hell as far as I'm concerned. These things were invented to make people less fearful of death.

the size of the paradise as the width of what's between heavens and earth.
Quran ch3
[133] And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious )

it has rivers from milk, wine, water, and honey without change in its taste. it has what our souls desires, it has that no eyes
have seen, or ears have heard or no one has imagined.
Quran Ch32
[17] No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.

you will become in the height of Adam when he was created, and in a beautiful form and looks. you will not be single in paradise. you have from all kinds of fruites, food, drinks and meat. and more..

I like how C.S Lewis said it...this earth is my only hell....grief, pain, suffering....I won't see those when in Heaven...just like this life is the only heaven for the non-believer...joy, happiness, peace....things they will never again experience.

The joy and happiness I feel here are just tastes of what is to come. Here I see circles, squares and triangles...in heaven I will see them as spheres, cubes and pyramids.

Like what Dante wrote about in The Divine Comedy/Dante's Inferno.

If you are a baby it is your mother's breast and eyes full of love, if you are a toddler it is a playground, if you are a teenager it is a party, if you are a young adult it is a new car and house...but if you are old, I suspect it will be an everlasting warm bath and massage and quiet and peace. I hope so.
Its all relative.
