How often do you have to replace your cookie sheets? I swear I have to every 3 months. I've tried different brands of non-stick and they get scratched, turn practically black, they just go bad. I'm just curious how often other people replace theirs. Thanks, all!

I don't use non stick cookie sheets. My son bought me some regular cookie sheets from Williams Sonoma and I love them. They are not cheap, but they are lasting. If scratching is a problem, try using the rubber utensils instead of the metal ones. I have to use these on my non stick griddle. I don't like them, but it saves the pans from getting scratched. My son uses Silpats on his sheets. Once again, not cheap, but they will last as long as you don't take a knife to them.

I use Parchment Paper. That way it protects the cookie sheet and I don't need to cook with oil etc and it makes for easy clean up. You can get it where they keep the foil in any grocery store.

I don't use non-stick sheet pans; they don't heat evenly for me. I use regular restaurant half sheet pans that I buy from restaurant supply stores and if I need to, I use parchment paper or my Silpat.
