My friend who is 15 years old has been taking Fish Body Oil Vitamins from GNC since he was 10 years old, he has also been taking a Calcium Supplement and a Multivitamin every night before bed. He is now 6'1", 2 inches taller than his father. He told me that the fish body oil vitamins help you grow taller, what do you know about this?

I think cory has it right on the omega 3 thing, it's good for your brain, skin, hair, great for helping fight cancers and stuff, although when he gets older he may have a problem with the calcium thing I've heard that men after a certain age should not take calcium because of health problems, but dont take our word for "google Men and calcium and you may get something, good luck try ing to convince your friend otherwise, it sounds like he already believe's in it.

He is probably taking Omega 3 supplements, and they do nothing for growth. Normally it's used to lower cholesterol. Nothing you take is going to change how tall you grow. It's genetics. The Calcium could cause prostate cancer so I've heard.

WD40 is made from fish oil.

Height is inherited, as many traits are. Not always from the parents but ancestors.
