I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I'll give it a shot.
Most of my friends are male. I've just always gotten along better with guys as I'm quite the tom-boy and we seem to have a little more in common. However, when it comes to relationships I find myself turning to my few female friends because we share similar circumstances with our spouses, children and home lives.

Depends what kind of talk. I like a girl talk when it's personal hygeine stuff, boy crush, or problem. I like boy talk when it's about fun stuff. Serious stuff is only between me and my girlfriends. I keep it fun with my boyfriends, idon't really think they know a lot when it comes to serious girl matter. I feel like they probably wouldn't understand. I love all my friends though. I'd probably only discuss serious matter with somone i'm dating.

It depend duh. Its most likely that you;ll go to someone of the same gender for a talk. but some guys and girls are really close and can manage to talk to each other seriously
