analog or digital is the delivery method.

digital television, HD radio, DVD movies offer clearer pictures and noise free audio so that is the prefered option at this point. Analog TV will be discontinued in February 2009, a little over a year from now. DVD has virtually replaced VHS tape. HD radio is slow rolling out only because the Detroit car makers have not made it an option yet.
