"They believe that God heals and they want to see something like this go on. They also understand it takes money to rent stadiums."
Hinn's sessions have gained a reputation for sudden miracle cures for cancer, blindness, diabetes and even AIDS over the past 30 years since his humble beginnings in a church hall at Bloor and Yonge. People dramatically fall to the floor proclaiming their health after a touch from Hinn's hand.
Hinn, however, professes to having nothing to do with making anybody healthy. "The Lord has not called me to heal people," he says. "He heals the people."

Ole Benny pulls down something on the order of $250 million each year for doing his schtick... What do you think of that?

I have been to a few crusades. My back was healed. He did not pray for me personally, an usher did. No man can heal, only God heals. God can choose anyone He wants to pray for healing. I have prayed for people and they have been healed. I am not special. I have also fallen over in the spirit many of times. At the crusades and also at church this happens quite often. When I fall no one has to touch me as the presence of God becomes so strong on me, I just fall over. I have been healed at church and also at home. I know that he makes alot of money and I am okay with that as he has to answer to God for how he spends it. I have to answer to God for how I spend my money too. All that I care about is that people know that God does heal every disease and we go to Him for what we need, not a person.

ABSOLUTELY...... A.... COMPLETE.... FRAUD!
Perhaps.... ... Missed the News Story about 5-years Ago?
Some News People.... tailed him and his wife. She went through the Audience... and spoke to people... incognito!
She had a Wireless Transmitter and Benny had A Receiver!
Benny would then during the service say, "There is a woman whose Sister has Cancer!" But of courese... his Disguised Wife... got the infor for him!
WHEN EXPOSED... they shut down their PHONEY OPERATION... for about A Year.
They came back into their Flim Flam.... Phoney CHRISTIAN Ministry.... TO DUPE THE BLIND!
(Matthew 15:14) Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
NOW.... THAT IS Why.... The Bible.... SAYS..... " PROVE ALL THINGS... 1Thes 5:21...."
Thanks, RR

I don't know why, but every time I see the name Benny Hinn, my mind first reads it as Benny Hill and I snicker, my answer is convincing fraud preying on the weak.

I once watched him do a healing thing and he looked up and said, God I Command you. That was it for me he is a fraud
taking money from gullable believers. Other than that, he never heals polio, or any ailment which is viewable to the public. Hell has a place reserved for that man!

His act is exactly like the hundreds who have come before him and perfected it. It only takes a few "tricks" to get the thing going. Once you've hit a certain level, your followers will create your legend for you.
Fundies Are Funny: That video is awesome. I never realized just how ridiculous his act has become.

Are you serious? Do you even have to ask? If people like Benny Hinn were genuine then the medical profession would go bankrupt and kapoot overnight.

He's a miracle worker. It takes a lot of faith for someone
to be healed in that fashion. I would see him as Jesus's
assistant. You have to understand he does Crusades
all across the world. I believe God sees to it that Benny is
blessed financially because of the amount of effort he
puts in each and every Miracle Crusade that he has.
So another words God makes it possible for him (Benny
Hinn) to be in such a position to make the miracles possible.

as long as there are hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers and so forth, we can know for certain he is a fraud, otherwise such places would go out of business.
pehaps what is most despicable about these types, is that they give false hope to those who are truly terminally ill, thus preying upon the most weakest and vulnerable of our society ... and always for a price.

I just saw a show devoted to him on "The Fifth Estate" (a Canadian news documentary series), and... wow. The shell game he plays is pretty good, but it's a shell game nonetheless. On one trip to Europe -- a trip that didn't include any business meetings or speaking engagements, mind you -- he managed to drop $10,000 in three days, as I recall, including luxury accomodations, limosine service, etc.
That sort of speaks for itself, doesn't it?
