Sin doesn't necessarily cause disease. Otherwise how would you explain how kids get leukemia and other diseases that kill them. Of course sin can lead to disease. That's good that you're disease free (so far).

That doesn't mean that if you continue this lifestyle you are guaranteed never to get an std. Hopefully you won't. You may live this whole life in sin and die of natural causes at age 90. That doesn't mean it was right. Ultimately God will judge you, as He will judge all of us. You need to think about how you'll stand before Him.

While sins have consequences, colds are not sent as a punishment by God. The consequences of one person's sins may affect others, in some cases others who are in no way connected to the offender. In both diseases and their remedies we see the inter-relationships among human beings. In the long run, what sin basically causes is separation, in our relationships with each other ... and God. Not colds!

Theist,
I am glad that our FATHER has seen fit to protect you from illness. That does not meaqn that you will always be well. I hope that you are. Eternal Salvation is certainly worth more than Health on Earth though. I would do my best to begin readying yourself for the here-after. That time will come soon enough and we never actually know how long we will live. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

Well apparently you've just proven that sin does not cause disease. Follow the evidence to find the truth, I say.

How do you know you won't get a disease on down the line...a face eating disease or a forty pound tumor?....but don't let me stop you from believing sin is not your downfall....you will find that out soon enough if you keep mocking God.

Have you factored in spiritual disease?

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Sin doesn't cause physical diseases. I believe sadness and depression does, not but sin. Sin scars your spirit, not physical being.

Sin brings death, pain, suffering and sickness. You may not have encountered that the last three, but the first one is inevitable.
