It started when employers wanted to come up with a way to tell which of their employees are performing well in their jobs, and how well. They came up with evaluations in order promote advancement based on merit, rather than on less tangible criteria.

Oh... you mean EVOLUTION... I find it funny that you talk about brainwashing lies, then start talking about the ficitonal character Satan as if it's a real entity. Well, it would be funny if it weren't so sad... and it shows that you know absolutely nothing about the real world. You should really re-evaluate your mental image of the world, because it's a far cry from reality.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that your parents have brainwashed you into believing in the existence of Satan, as well as all of that Creationist fiction. Here's a good resource from the University of Berkeley that has a lot of good information on the facts about Evolution:

http://evolution.berkeley.edu/

And in case you're one of those, um, educationally challenged individuals that like to misuse the word "theory", here's a definition as it pertains to science:

the·o·ry (thē'ə-rē, thîr'ē)
n. pl. the·o·ries

A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

There is no real "Theory of Creation" as you're describing it P.I. Joe, that was a myth invented by religious fanantics that are trying to make their beliefs sound more credible. You can't have a "theory" if the principles that it describes are untestable.

First off, the word is "evolution." I guess all that Christian training didn't teach you anything about spelling and grammar.

Second, there is physical evidence to support the theory. According to Christian teachings Satan is not able to create (i.e. create evidence) but only destroy.

Third, the "idea" was first presented in the late 1800's by Charles Darwin.

God gave us intelligence so that we could think. Thinking involves observing the world around you (including the evidence for evolution), evaluating it and trying to come up with conclusions that make sense of the evidence.

Get in line, bub. You're about the billionth person to spout such nonsense. Evolution happened whethere there is/are god/s or not. To the opposite effect, there are about a billion people who say, "Who sprouted the lie of Religion?" There is no definitive proof either way, so get with it and don't try and make us beleive what we don't want to.

First of all, it is exactly that kind of one-sided fanatical thinking that has caused the theory of creation to be banned from public schools. Way to be part of the problem, chief!

Second, it's "evolution", not "evaluation". I'd suggest becoming a bit more educated before attempting to debunk a theory you clearly know very little about.

And third, evolution never claimed to be a fact--it's always been known as the "theory of evolution", and it has a lot of solid data to back itself up. As does the theory of creation. So unless you're prepared to conduct all your own research and experimentation, you've got to pick one to believe. Some feel that evolution presents a stronger case, while others feel creation makes the most sense.

Satan? Are you kidding me?
And people wonder why we call them delusional.

Considering that there's mountains of evidence to back up evolution, and not one scrap of evidence to back up claims of a mystical boogeyman, this question has no credibility.

Discussions in here get to be as pretty mature as they do in GWS. I must drop by more often.
(Solarcide, you made me spit my coffee out! I did so lol, as you were the only one to attempt to explain the origins of evaluations... funny man you are!)
