New T.V. and Camera?

Question

Heres what i want:

Camera: Up to $400.00

1) Digital w/ at least 7 megapixels
2) Be about the size of an iPod video, no smaller, not too much bigger
3)Be able to have some video

T.V.:

1) Doesn't have to be a flat panel
2)13" or more

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras and learn as much as they can from the internet.
Go to the store and hold them and try them to see what they feel like and how they take pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.

Visit a real camera store - not a discount store or department store. The employees are trained and know the features and benefits of every camera they sell. Once you make your selection BUY the camera at that store. You will now have access to someone knowledgeable who will readily answer your questions and can offer advice. The salesperson may be on commission so its unfair to use his/her time and then stiff them by buying elsewhere.*

Go to Wal-Mart and pick a TV.

* Many years ago I worked part-time in a camera store. One Sat. morning I spent over 2 hours with a fellow who was planning on buying either a Canon or Nikon. He took notes, wrote down prices, gathered brochures and left. A few weeks later he came with his new Nikon that he'd bought from a mail-order store in NYC. He started asking questions. I told him he needed to talk to someone where he bought his camera - we didn't have time for him. I would do the same thing in the same situation today.

Your best bet would be to go to a store and ask a salesman to show you what they have. Make sure to tell him what you want.
