My exboyfriend broke up with me about a month ago because he couldn't handle the stress of our relationship anymore although he still loved me. We got together a few times after the breakup and had a wonderful time, but nothing made him want to come back. I called him at the beginning of the week and he was very rude to me and said he wants to move on. My ex never says he is sorry for anything, but he ended up texting me that night saying sorry. I didn't respond back so he ended up calling me 4 times the next day and left me a message saying sorry for being rude, he was just trying to make a point, and he hopes I feel better. I never answered the phone and still haven't called him back. He always expects me to be there when he opens up communication between us, but I wasn't this time! Am I doing the right thing by not calling him? I was hoping it might make him think.

2 things

1) He has obviously made his point, he doesn't want to try the relationship again.

2) You need to continue to make your point, by not calling him and not letting him continue not only the rude treatment, but bever 'saying' the words, I am sorry.

You did the right thign for sure.

good job guys shouldn't be rude to girls just to try to prove a point. have him worry if he wants u back than he would be so freaked cuz u never call him and have him think you did move on. than call him in a week and just talk.

yeah but maybe to quicken the thinking process you should answer the phone once and only once just to say what you want to say then when he tries to talk hangup that will make him thik tell him to meet you in person when he gets his **** together maybe that will make him think /c then he know exactly how you feel and that you are very serious about this

yes im proud of you im doing the same thing he's making it clear that he doesnt want to be with you so thre s no reason you should stick around and wait for him which is what alot of girls end up doing he assumes that you're gonna end up begging him and he just wants the attention

No, you made him apologize which he don't usually do. Don't that mean something to you? Your action will only turn his mind away from you.
