How come when i use my LP recorder and i listen to the finish product the music only comes out of 1 speaker?

Hello,

I am using the Xitel Inport LP recorder, and i recorded 2 lps and both of the LPs have sound that only come out of 1 speaker, am i doing something wrong?

When you record, do you see BOTH the audio input level meters moving? (and they should not be exactly the same).
This way you can make sure the source is stereo and you are recording in stereo.

If you see only one audio level moving, then your source does not provide stereo to begin with.

If you record in stereo and you hear mono, then you have a playback problem. - switch the speakers to see if it is a speaker problem or not.
