Do you go somewhere for breakfast or brunch or dinner on Sunday? Or do you do so on Saturday or Friday? What kind of family tradition do you observe every week, or on special days of the month?

Please feel free to state your religion, nationality, or ethnicity. Thank you very much.

Since my husband retired we go out for Sunday lunch at the local club and have a $5 roast. Then we put $5 through the pokies and have a game of Keno.

On Wednesday night we go to a bowling club and have a smorgasbord dinner. Put $5 in the pokies and again have a game of Keno. Because on Wednesdays my husband plays golf and I have a craft day with my friends.

I'm R.C. Australian

Every Sunday we have a very large, elaborate, home cooked meal. My mum is an amazing cook! Everyone living at home is required to attend - and even those that have left home always come back for Sunday dinner. The food is fantastic and the conversation is always lively. It's a fun evening and it's an awesome tradition at our house! During the week the meals are great too - but with school and jobs not everyone can be home.

My family sits down to dinner together at least once a week, usually on Saturday. We'd like to do it more often, but of the five of us, four have jobs and two are in college, so usually Saturday is the only day we have. We go out to lunch Sundays after church every once in awhile, but my dad doesn't usually go with us so we tend to come straight home. I go out with my friends on Wednesday night after church, but that's usually just for coffee and doesn't last more than an hour. But hey, you've got to get quality time whenever you can, right?

When the kids were home there were no traditions on Sunday regarding meals. Our family had dinner together every night of the week.

My children are school age and my husband and I are both college students. If that weren't enough, my husband also works 3rd shift full time, so we have little time to do things as a family. Because of this we have made it a tradition that any school-off holiday, we turn off the phone, order some pizza and have family only time.

Not really I like to hang around the house this day, that's unless is somebody's celebration to which I'm invited. Besides restaurants are soooo full this day...
