No it does not,and your body get's dependent on it,you cant go to the toilet without it,it overworks your kidneys and destroys it.

they actually just help you lose the water weight. You do get lighter but exercise is still the best way to go.
Try combining it with a good diet and adequate exercise (this is still the best way to lose weight unfortunately)
be careful with laxatives, your body might become dependent on those.

you will only be lighter on the scale as the bowels are emptied. the body fat % obviously will remain the same so there will be no positive physical changes in the body
