Don't you just love the way Xtians claim god created all living things("Just look around you") except those they don't like?

Doesn't claiming that man made diseases mean that life can originate someway other than via your sky daddy?

Oh! The illogic!

When God made his 306 Commandments, that Moses wrote down, there are ones saying if one eats what is called kosher today, and cleans themselves as it says too, that they won't get sick.
And science is proving it true. It says to never have any kind of fat from meat in you and the only oil they can use is Olive Oil. Science is proving/finding that if only Olive Oil is in one many health problems go away or don't come. Even arthritis. It would not surprise me if Dementia was found to be caused from eating the wrong fats from meats.
It is more likely we are causing them, disease. If everyone was a virgin at marriage, would there be venereal disease?
Meningitis use to be much milder than today. It is all these vacations that have made it worse.
On the Discovery Health Channel, about 6 years ago, I saw a report that showed how hardly anyone got Cancer in 1950; but people caught bugs/fevers all the time. With each vaccination that came out, less got sick with a fever, more got Cancer. Now Cancer is in the majority of us at some point and a fever is a rare thing to happen. Think of the man that got Cancer and went running all over the place. The running pushed his temp. up and killed the Cancer. (Maybe air conditioning increase it too?)

No...He "intelligently designs" disease.

Seriously though, no. "God" doesn't make anything. People make God, and then have a hard time for accounting for things like disease.

So, not wanting to blame their invented God, they pretend that disease is a result of human "sin." But in that case, they must at least regard it as God's judgment and punishment of sin - so God makes disease!

nah, he makes bodies capable of living to 1000 years old (apparently). complete with a beautiful immune system to fight off the bugs - which shuts down because of guess what, stress. Stress puts the body into fight or flight hormones (adrenaline, etc -) even if you are just sitting there nervously tapping a leg, or chewing a pen, this is your body in fight or flight mode ! - so we are all stressed most of the time, because we are not able to be OM! peaceful gurus at peace with ourselves and the world, so we get into dis-ease - caused, i believe, from a body not at ease and at one with all that is (God). So i reckon if we could all be sort of unconditionally loving compassionate gurus helping eachother and living in joy and love and positivity, we probably wouldn't get sick or disease or do any of the things we do that harm us, and we'd all look amazing and stay youthful totally rejuvenating ourselves, for like ages and ages.!

but the funny thing is people don't even think that living for 1000 years old would be fun (apart from the ones that are just plain scared of death). they think it would be hideous.

you'd have to get into the right mind-state and then i reckon it would be endlessly amusing.

God designed earth life such that disease would exist. This is one of many conditions that can help us grow and develop.

It's common for personal choices to contribute to disease in ourselves and others (e.g., smoking).

There are some videos at the following web site that go into more detail about the purpose of life.

If you believe God is the eternal Creator of life, then you have to believe He created disease, since most of them are caused by microbes; germs, bacteria, viruses, etc. In other words, living organisms.

We are flawed humans susceptible to disease. Our bodies are dying daily as we age. We all die differently and usually because of disease. God didn't make disease. I believe it is a product of our environment.

Not all diseases came from God. Some people became sick because of their wrong doings.

So we better follow the healthy way of life.

3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

That is Christ's way.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

No. I believe it is our thoughts and feelings that cause us to manifest wellness or dis-ease. If we think and feel anger, frustration, sorrow, etc., then our bodies will manifest these thoughts and feelings as cancer, diabetes, and other afflictions of modern civilization. If we think and feel love, joy, compassion, etc., then our bodies will be nurtured by this alchemy and will reflect itself through good health.

Germs are all over the place. It is whether we can defend ourselves against them by keeping a positive outlook that is the key to maintaining a healthy body.

According to christians, yes because He makes everything (including smallpox).

Of course, if any human created diseases like God does, it would be considered bioterrorism.
