Depending on how perceptive and comfortable you are with the nonliving, they will show signs- sometimes small ones and sometimes big - depending on what they think you will feel comfortable with. Sometimes you may just be overcome with a period of peace when you think of them. Sometimes, you may see or hear figures of them. I am a scary person, not real comfortable with the non-living, but I have very perceptive dreams. My loved ones always come to me in my sleep and they will tell me that they are alright; sometimes they provide me signs and warn8ngs that help me in my life.

Well, Let me share what happened a couple of years ago. This is the only time I can say that I ever saw a sign, so it may be unique in this situation.
We live in Michigan and an 8 year old kid across the street decided to play the suicide game and flung himself down the stairs wearing a dog collar and leash which he hung from the newell post. His 6 year old sister found him when he didn't come down to dinner.
It was in the fall and his older brother came running across the street to our house crying for us to help. We have no idea how long he had been without oxygen before they found him.
My husband and I went over to administer CPR after they cut him down. I hope you never have to go through administering CPR, but if you don't know it, I hope you will learn. His parents didn't know how to do it and those precious few minutes may have been the difference.
This child never regained consciousness and I recall as they were wheeling him into the ambulance that without warning we had a huge lightning and thunder display in the sky. In the late fall in Michigan, this just doesn't happen.
The chain lightnng was in full display in the sky for only 30 minutes and it stopped just as unexpectedly as it started.
As you can imagine, neighbors gathered together and one of the teens shared with me a story. Her friend had died a couple of years ago, and she and her friend loved to watch lightning storms. She thinks her friend in heaven arranged for the lightning display going on at that time to show that this boy was now in heaven with him and that he would be taken care of.
Personally, this kid was our lovable, but definitely our resident Dennis the Menace. I picture that this kid went to heaven in the only way he could make his entrance. He's up there and giving the angels a full time job keeping him out of trouble!!
And, yes, I do believe that this child went to heaven. He was too young to understand the consequences of his actions and had ADHD.

If you believe in the afterlife, then I am sure you are aware of the criteria for getting to a good place. If your loved one was a good person, you can make a pretty good guess that they are o.k.
Some believe people who have passed, can show signs. That makes me feel extremely uncomfortable, so I don't open myself up to that opportunity. And, you can believe what you like. I have had a dream where communication took place, and was very relevant to an ongoing situation at the time. I don't talk about it because it could make me look nuts, and could also just be a coinsidence. I even begged the person not to leave me and woke up crying hard.
Believe what you want to believe ... do some research and keep asking questions. You will come to your own conclusion.

I wonder if you are worrying about someone in particular, we all have that special person we miss. My sympathies.:o]
All these people have their rights to their own perspectives on this topic, however it comes from no reliable source whatsoever, why? you ask? Because they haven't died and come back with the truth or the evidence. And off that note, I would like to inform you of a website neardeathexperience. It's the first one that comes up, and all these people, who were clinically dead for however long come back and verify things that happened in the hospital room, WHILE THEY WERE BRAIN DEAD! Now if you are dead, brain dead even, than how could u know what was happening afterwards?
A: Life after death. Our consciousness is an amazing thing. A mysterious force that is our connection to the greater plan. God's plan.

i reckon most people are okay after they have died, because all the things that 'matter' in a body, don't kind of matter any more. firstly there is no body so no pain and physical suffering. secondly no personality (i hate this, i love that, i am a woman, a man, i'm cool, i'm not, i miss you, i'm jewish, i like spinach, i hate lying on the right side of the bed) - i mean imagine dumping all of that 'stuff' and just going back to being a soul where you realise that all that was like an actor playing a part, and you can press the reset button and go back to being 'male female soul'.
now as far as how do you define what is 'okay' for someone who is now dead. you want to be sure that God is not beating them over the head with a stick because of the chewing gum they stole from the corner store. you want to be sure they didn't end up in the same room as dead hitler or manson.
well i reckon the person goes to the place - 'in my father's house are many mansions' - that fits their 'next move' after evaluating their recent life. like they would end up where they were meant to end up.
now as far as showing signs, i have had friends who as kids saw someone who passed over in their family at the foot of the bed. kids seem more attuned to seeing spirits, that might come to say goodbye, especially in the first three days after death apparently, maybe kids aren't as programmed and wouldn't be so freaked out as adults, so they see the spirits more easily. but i never have had any 'experience' of someone who has died, except for a family gathering where we were all saying 'omg grandmother and grandfather would have so loved this, i bet they are here in spirit' - that gathering had heaps of 'orbs' and spirit energy in the photos, i am sure it was them. i think if it is part of your soul purpose and theirs to 'communicate' they will. otherwise just know that it's all cool. it just is. people have been dying and getting born and vice versa since adam and eve, so the system must work somehow.

GOD can Expand Time and give an Individual The Last Chance to Accept Jesus as their Saviour.
We don't really know if they have or have not.
The only people I Know that are in Hell, are the ones that the Bible says are there (Rich Man in the Parable of Lazarus, so on).
Personally, I wouldn't want my Eternal Choice to be cut that close to Hell.
Jesus is Lord.

don't listen to those people who say oh theres no after life or no heaven or hell... no one really knows. They can't tell you weather or not heaven and hell exists unless they've been there and died.. lol but I am asuming they're not because they answered your question. My friend lost her dad a year ago. He told her and her family that he would give them a sign that he was ok and if he were to come back he would come as a cat. I was at her house with her because she needed a friend with her and we saw a black cat in front of the house. It was only a few days after he passed it was so emotional and a little scary you have to say. well i hope i have helped (:

I don't believe in the Heaven that you are talking about, but I do believe in the afterlife.I think if people have not went to their destination we keep dreaming about them after they die and feel ill at ease months after they had past,if everything went fine we don't and except it better and go on with our lives.Either that's a sign or it's just us and our way of letting go.
(Many blessings)

It depends if they've accepted Jesus as their Saviour. I've heard it said that in someone's last moments of life they either call out to God or curse God.
There's no way to know for sure if the person went to Heaven because God looks at the heart while we can't. But you could take hope that even people who aren't interested in a relationship with God during their life may call on Him when they're facing death.

I read and know some people that died and came back to life, they were in heaven, and some met Jesus..... my Grandmother was one of them, she did die shortly after wards, so I am assuming that she went back again.
Usually if you pray a lot concerning that loved one, they usually come back to say that they are okay and in a good place and not to worry.
