Last time somebody did that to me I just said "bad pick up line" and walked away...sort of shot him out of the water and his friends laughed at him...I hate when guys of a certain ethnicity follow you around Wal-Mart going "hey baby"...like that's the only English words they've learned so far, and they think that's going to turn women on.

YES! people cannot just walk up and say crap, well they obviously can but yes it is rude and very out of line. A walk by and a smile or a hello would be nice not "nice ***" that is a horrible way to approach someone. I would be offended. You should have said I don't know wheather to thank you or tell you to go to hell. But you did the right thing by just walking away from him.

Yeah that sounds sort of out of line.
The other day I walked into a clothing store and these 2 guys were sitting in chairs in front of the opening(you had to go either left or right, and they were sitting against the wall). As I turned to walk in, I heard a click noise from a cell phone taking a picture. I think he took a picture of my butt! Not cool

Rude. But take it as a compliment and be proud of your a-ss and be satisfied in the knowledge that he will never ever get an a-ss anywhere near as nice as yours.

It was his horrible way of trying to hit on you. If you perceive it as rude, then it was. If you found it flattering then it was. It sounds like you prefer the "you have an amazing smile" compared to "great rack sweetcakes." Either way he was trying to show interest, he just chose the wrong way to go about it.

I don't understand people at all. Was this guy DRUNK? Is this why you women are immediately defensive and skittish every time a guy tries to spark a conversation with you? Are you expecting, somewhere in your psyche, all of us act this way? The thought of that is what irks me about THIS jackass.

Rude? Yes, something like that is very inappropriate...In the work place, it could cost someone their job.
Deep down inside...I'm sure it felt great tobe noticed...

i'd give some nice come back, feeling refreshed after kicking that short comment. be prepared for unexpected shots would be great. it is rude and unfortunately, not every brain is level headed. gotta slap them back. gotta be clever and edumacate that obnoxiousness.
