The scientific method observes a phenomenon, forms a hypothesis to explain it, then tests the hypothesis to see if evidence bears it out, and by this process arrives at a conclusion. So-called Creation Science begins with the conclusion (God created everything) and then looks for the evidence. That is the opposite of method scientific method. Real science starts with evidence, and looks for the conclusion, not the other way around. So why call Creation Science "science"?

They call it "Creation science" to make their religious beliefs sound secular. They want to try to sneak their mythology into science class.

Normal, rational people know that this is simply an attack by creationists on public schools in an attempt to brainwash innocent children.

Just as I wouldn't pick up a medical book from 100 years ago to treat someone today, neither would I pick up any religious book to attempt to make religion a science.
Can you put stock today in books that claim the Earth is the center of the solar system (much less the universe) and a religion that taught that for 1600 plus years. Can you rely on a book that was written by someone or something that claims the world to be flat, or that is only 6000 years old ? Religion aligns more closely with fiction than science, so it may be better to break these books (bibles etc.) into books titled fiction and non fiction and guess which one is thicker? Religion may be the alter ego of science or the Jekyll to Mr. Hyde, but hardly a sister. Religion does not have the requisite DNA to be a sister to science.

Those purveyors of lies, the creationists, aren't truly interested in finding an accurate or even truthful answer to the questions that they ask. The entire point of the creationist movement is to subvert the acceptance of evolution by the American public. To this end, they are quite effective. All of their supporting data are either outright fabrications or bastardization of the truth. Their aim is not to present the best evidence, their aim is to convince people that they are right and that evolution is not only wrong, but immoral. To this end, they utilize what they call the "Wedge Strategy." The Discovery Institute, a prominent creationist organization's stated goals are this:

"Governing Goals

To defeat scientific materialism and its destructive moral, cultural and political legacies.
To replace materialistic explanations with the theistic understanding that nature and hurnan beings are created by God.
Five Year Goals

To see intelligent design theory as an accepted alternative in the sciences and scientific research being done from the perspective of design theory.
To see the beginning of the influence of design theory in spheres other than natural science.
To see major new debates in education, life issues, legal and personal responsibility pushed to the front of the national agenda.
Twenty Year Goals

To see intelligent design theory as the dominant perspective in science.
To see design theory application in specific fields, including molecular biology, biochemistry, paleontology, physics and cosmology in the natural sciences, psychology, ethics, politics, theology and philosophy in the humanities; to see its innuence in the fine arts.
To see design theory permeate our religious, cultural, moral and political life. "

Especially frightening are the twenty year goals. America lags behind the rest of the industrialized world in scientific literacy. In terms of evolutionary theory the average American is profoundly uninformed. We rank just above turkey in acceptance of evolution. That should scare you. This, combined with the ongoing creationist campaign to rid the world of real science, is a recipe for disaster. It brings the United States one step closer to their ultimate goal: an overtly theocratic America. Any moderate or reasoned citizen should be frightened and outraged. The scariest part is that they are winning. Don't believe me? Check the second source. It's all the convincing you should need. Be afraid. The guiding principles of our very country are at stake.

it seems to count on what the different creationists have confidence. One creationist college of theory, for occasion, disputes geological theories that metres thick sedimentary rocks could desire to all have been accumluated from sediments deposited in historic seas or lakes over thousands and thousands of years. They ingredient to a minimum of a few thing like 12 metre thick sediments which amassed interior of an extremely short volume of time - days or perhaps hours - whilst Mt St Helens erupted. so as that they think approximately that's an decision scientific explanation for a manner long sedimentary rocks have taken to get laid down..

Its proponents call it a science so that it can be taught in public school science classes in order to give what they believe to be an alternative to evolution.

Those folks are filled with a large amount of a brown, disgusting, semi-solid substance that has been eliminated from the digestive tract of a sexually functional male bovine.

I'm not a scientist, however, I look at myself and the world that surrounds me and I OBSERVE the greatness of GOD. I don't need a measuring stick, a computer or a microscope to understand this world. A casual observation reveals volumes!
