DVD Camcorders?

I'd like to purchase a camcorder for my dad. I want just a basic one with an LCD screen that records onto standard DVD's. What brand and model would be a best buy for $250-300?

you won't find one that records on standard DVD, they all use a miniture version DVD. after finalized, they require a player that can take the smaller size. any you find at that price range will be a best buy for sure.
