hey i went to the doctors about my eyes a week ago for the lazy eye thing.. she checked my eyes and gave me some eye drops then she said i dont have that much of a problem (wtf) she said if it gets worse she will give my prisms for my eyes

is she suppose to give me some eye excercise and somewhat to improve vision i am 17.

most of the time "therapy" and "eye exercises" for amblyopia only work during the "critical period"...birth to around age 8. most eye docs would not choose aggressive therapy for a 17 year old amblyope b/c the probability of it making much difference is pretty low.

Personally, I think you should call her and ask for a clarification. Is the lazy eye something you were aware of since birth or early childhood? Treatment depends on several variables, none of which we can appreciate on Yahoo.

Not all cases of amblyopia (lazy eye) are amenable to therapy.

haha. eye excercise? i have a lazy eye, but it is because my eye socket is smaller or something. it is something i can't change, but its not that bad. to tell you the truth, i'd see an another doctor's oppinion. that sounds like BS.
