The fact is marriage does not include and has never included homosexual couples so why do we need to change the definition of marriage now? What is the public reason for marriage? The answer families, bond between husband and wife, and attaching children to their biological parents. Marriage between a man and a women is considered natural law because it is only with in the heterosexual union that children are received into the world. Homosexual relationships are simply not the same as heterosexual relationships and should not be defined as if they are. The reasons the LGBTQ community want marriage are all private reasons. Marriage is not a right to begin with and no ones rights are violated if they don't get married. Our society needs to stop pretending like males and females are the same and are interchangeable because they aren't. Simply put there is no such thing as gay marriage.

Yes, you do have freedom of religion in this country. Marriage between 1 man and 1 woman is God ordained. God invented marriage while Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. Found in Genesis. Marriage is the parallel of Christ and his bride, the church. Ephesians 5:25-33.
1 man and 1 man or 1 woman and 1 woman or 3 men and 3 men or etc. can have sexual contact with each other but, this is called fornication, not marriage by God. Even if you don't believe it.

It's just the concept of marriage that our current society holds. If the argument wasn't the bible, it would be that a gay couple can't procreate, or any of the other biased arguments. Personally I think gays should be able to get married. No one can stop anyone from living together, and marriage is just a legal formality anyways.

Look, just because a knife will fit into an electric socket doesn't mean it belongs there. If you try it you will surely be "shocked" - and I suppose there are people out there who enjoy this. Still, that's not what it was made for. The socket was invented to power electrical devices and I believe it is recommended that we use them for that purpose. When you abuse it you're asking for trouble and usually get it. Some people are even oblivious enough to enter doors marked "EXIT ONLY". There again, do so at your own peril.

Marriage, like sex is the foundation for having children. And I don't think Islam says it's o.k.,nor the Jew. So love that is no better than LUST is no good. Have children. BUT that cannot be done, not male to male nor female to female, YOU WERE NOT BORN THAT WAY either. YOU know it's a choice. Fornication, & adultry is just as bad. I, nor any else has the right to be the judge! But God pronounced it evil. BUT I see how the 'regular' people spew their contempt for 'gays

It's not wrong as far as I'm concerned.
I hear the immorality argument, and the one about homosexual marriage taking social security benefits from hetero couples. There are other inane arguments but none of them are worth repeating.
It's just bigoted people trying to impose their will on others. It's working for now, but I am confident that gay marriages will soon be legal.

Yes, it is a free country. People can do whatever they want. That doesn't mean it's right. People are also free to have affairs with someone who's married. Everyone is free to get drunk and pass out. We are free to have sex with anyone and/or everyone if we want. Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's morally, spiritually, or physically good for us.
According to God, it is a sin. That's why most people who believe in God and are Christians, are against homosexuality.
1 Corinthians 6:9 -- 9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Romans 1:24-27 -- 24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

God made man for woman and woman for man. Man and woman can reproduce. Two men can not reproduce and two women can not reproduce. It has to do with marriage is to create children. And yes it's against the Bible.
