Twist it if you are on the government side. Industrialisation does not cause pollution, but the ways in which it is carried out and the misuse of industrialisation for the sake of profit causes pollution. If you are opposition, this is rather easy. On the government side, however, another point to bring up (though it must be minor) is the benefits of industrialisation. Cheers and good luck.

My stand point is that industries have the potential for pollution. It is a large scale effort which uses environmental resources and energy. It can be done in a none polluting - way. In history, industrialization has been, with its accompanying industries, and is, one of the biggest sources of pollution on Earth.

Compare the amount of pollution in Capitalist countries to non capitalist countries. Look at China, India, Russia, Bangladesh, and Viet Nam to countries like Canada, France Norway, UK, and the USA.
You'll find that the amount of industrialization does not matter. The more Capitalism the country, the less pollution there is.
Pollution control is a multi billion dollar business. There is much profit to be made in the field of pollution control. And the more wealth a country has, the more pollution controls they can afford.

I am afraid that even if we told you the answer you would misspell it and use bad grammar to state the case.
