Most shampoo's don't really work. Go to your Vet or local Petco and get some Advantage or Revolution drops. One application lasts about a month and its really easy to apply and it works

If he's 2 months I think he's ok for flea shampoos, but check the bottle. Sometimes it's 12 weeks. Once he's bathed wrap him in a thick towel. You can also use a blow dryer on him on a low setting but don't get too close with it. As you blow dry use your hand against the fur which will fluff it a little and make it dry faster but also protect his skin with the movement of your hand from too much heat. You can try a flea collar but again make sure he's old enough. I also recommend the flea drops instead of shampoo. It works far better.

Give the puppy a bath in Dawn dishwashing detergent. This was recommended to me by my vet and it really works. Because it doesn't kill the eggs, you should repeat every 10 days until the fleas are all gone. Wash the puppy's bedding, also every 10 days. After you bathe him, dry him very thoroughly with a soft, warm towel (fluff it in the dryer for a few minutes). Put him in a box with high sides and warm padding. You might want to consider a heating pad on low under his bedding until he is completely dry.

well, for the 1st question, if you give him a bath in the sink or bathtub try to give him a luke warm [make SURE it isn't hot or it will burn them] bath and then when he gets out wrap him in a towel and towel dry his fur. something fun to do when they're puppies is put a blow drier on medium or low and make the air cool if there is a button to [if there isn't make sure the air isn't too hot. if it is, don't do this please] and just play with him. point the blow drier at him, then point it away. just mess around and have fun with him. this will try him off. You can always just hold him in a towel too.
for the 2nd question, frontline. And you should routinely use frontline too. it is 40 dollars for a 2 or 4 pack, I'm not sure, but through the vet it might be less. but trust me, It's worth it, because we use it on our dog and you can tell it makes them alot more comfortable not having fleas.

You cant really do a whole lot with puppies that young ,your not suppose to use the medicated shampoo on dog that are younger than 12 weeks old. There is some powder you can get to put on them, it works well. I used it on my dog when she was a pup , she had ticks real bad.

The drops from the vets are great you will need a house spray as well. Get them from the vets they are more expensive but they work. ones from pet shops dont work and its just throwing your money away.
