cause they obviously like your style....If you don't want to tell them... Lie... tell them it was a gift or that you bought it at a thrift shop... lol... or that you bought it on line and you don't remember the site. or that you had it for years you just decided to wear it now...Its a compliment anyway you look at it.

some people rate others on where they buy their clothes. I come from a wealthy family and in my circle of friends they often ask where others buy their stuff. When the other people leave they discuss where the other person bought it and rate them on the store. Hence the rip off shirt industry.

In a non rude way...it's the obvious. They like what you are wearing and want to know where you got it. They might of not seen something of the like before and were curious.
It is definately a compliment to you.
