There is truth, and there is honesty.

It is simple to speak honestly. It is difficult to tell the truth, because truth is often based on many variables outside one's own knowledge base or experience.

Being honest is telling YOUR truth. And that's a good thing.

It's simple but not always easy. By that I mean the mechanism of telling the truth is simple, but sometimes you don't want to tell the truth, so it's not easy.

it is the simplest, and least stressful, all lies cause stress (which is why lie detector tests work.) i, when i am trying to have a deep conversation with someone tricky, and if i am scared i will tell a 'lie' or rather 'not be truthful' for some sort of reason which is always to do with fear or judgement, then i put my hand on my heart while i am speaking. i don't know where i heard this but i think it does help to keep in the truth. u know how when you tell a lie or speak a judgement you get a little sort of pain in your stomach. well if you don't feel it, you look out for it next time, you will learn to feel it. you can literally feel the stress in the body from lying. the stress from lying all the time can drive you insane, make you lose your health and your looks. i kid u not!

It's simple, but it can also be difficult. Just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's impossible. I try to always tell the truth, even little lies can really catch up and make life a lot more difficult!

We live in a world that has a nature of sin, so sin is around us. It is consumed in the air and tempts us. By doing nothing but conforming to this world, we submit to the sins in the world by the choices we make. It is easier to lie than to tell the truth. It is easier to be bad than to be good. Good takes work and conviction toward the goal of defeating this sin that seeks always to consume us (mentally, physically and spiritually). This may seem unreasonable, but think about it; it is really easier to tell the untruth than the truth. Think about any time in your life that you had the opportunity to tell the truth do the right think, or make a specific choice that you later admitted to yourself was not the right one? It's simple. In the world we live in, truth has many meanings, thus comes "the untruth", the redefinition to fit our purpose. This redefining of truth leads us to what IS "the untruth"!

Telling the truth is always simple.

Overcoming ego to be able to tell truth is always the hardest thing.

So overcome the ego and truth will always be simple.

Truth is simple in the fact that you never regret telling it. A lie has to be upheld by more lies until you can't even keep all the lies together.

Ask Russian journalist "Anna Politkovskaya" or "Alexander Litvinenko". that's perfect they have been the two murdered alledgedly for telling the fact via Putin government. DFF DFF

Truth is only viable if you know the answer. You have posted this in R&S, so i presume you are posting this question in a religious context. If so, truth from a religious point of view cannot be verified and is open to much scrutiny.
