I have a photo of myself and in it there are some round lights that seem to appear out of nothing, there is nothing for the to have reflected from and no lights shining to have made them, they are in random places around the picture, some bigger than others. My friend tells me they are orbs, I am a bit of scepic adn would like to know a bit more abouth them.

Either your camera lens is dirty...... or they are spirits or angels..... when they first take off.... they appear to look like a bolt of lighting, and if you see them in the sky they look like a ball with a tail like end ~o or if moving slow they can appear like a ball, cloud, they can take different shapes.

There are a lot of theories about orbs. Most of the time, they are light reflections or dust particles. However, there are some that can't be explained away so easily. My husband and I took a photo at an old military cemetery and an orb appeared in a treetop. When he enhanced it on the computer, you could see a face in it. Is it a spirit that is still at the cemetery? Personally, I believe when genuine orbs appear in photographs they are manifestations of a person's own energy, but this is not a theory I've heard anywhere else.

I'd love to see that picture. I've been visited by orbs, gold/bronze ones. Even found a picture that is identical to what I saw.
As far as I know they are good, but there really isn't much info out there on them. Most are like white paper that is see thru where some are actual 3-d balls that are gold/bronze and some of these have a bright light from the center.

"Ghost hunters" say they are spirits. I see them occasionally. I never noticed them until a few people close to me passed away. Perhaps they are people we know that have passed on that are looking out for us? There are a few pictures of me with orbs in them. Even though I am a very spiritual person I try to find a scientific explanation for the orbs in the pictures.
One of the theories is that as our bodies have electrical impulses that send thoughts from one part our brain to another and feelings from our body to our mind after we die and all that is left is that electrical energy
Perhaps when our energy merges with the main source of energy that runs through the universe (God) we find heaven.

It appears as material, either light or cloud-like, and is a partially materialized spirit. The level of spirit can be experienced by harmony as higher spirits and dischord or anxiety as lower, when they are near. Air filling with roses is usually higher spirits, and the smells of wet dogs or worse is the work of lower spirits. Pray that God would allow you only contact with high spirits, and only seek Him with the best intentions of purity and truthfulness in your life - drawing near to Him, and you will sort the two types out more easily.

The photographs of orbs greatly increased with digital camera technology. They are particulates in the air that reflect the light of the flash and are more prominent due to the pixel quality of the digital image.
Unless you can get them on film, versus digital recordings and stills, they have no mystery.

That happens to me when I take Pictures.
I Think they are Spiritual Manifestations of Angels (Good) or angels (bad).
Haven't got much Info to go on.
I have Personally seen them around a Person.
Three of them, looked like SnowBalls, one on Each Shoulder and one on Top of the Head.
White SnowBalls.

Orbs are small grey balls,that contain spirit energies. if it looks like lights it is left over energy balls from peoples energies/auras. If the lights are around you close to your body then it is your aura.
