I wonder why we do not hear about caring out reach of the muslim community for the children of Iraq? They seem to be more concerned to send killers and war materials. Why? I mean food and medical help camps could be set up by fellow muslim brothers and sisters with our worry of being hurt by either side right? I know Americans would welcome them in safe areas. Americans have been sending school supplies and other items to help.

While your heart is good and the intent is loving, it wouldn't be welcome in their country because the children would learn our language, customs, morals and values. They belong to whatever family is still alive and if they can't be located, then she should join her siblings wherever they are. Neighbors or far-flung relatives are the best option.
Thank you for caring. Blessings.

She will probably be adopted by some overseas couple. The Pearl Buck Society has been doing this for six decades in Asia. The reason she should leave Iraq is her mixed religious heritage of Sunni and Shia.
But, this story puts the lie to the vile diatribes of some about American soldiers being baby killers.

Another true American god bless you. However if we do much more it is just a bigger insult to the Muslims. Remember many of there decisions are made based on there beliefs in there religion and anything that helps there people that is American touched is just the evils of Americans and will contaminate there own people, in there eyes it is better destroyed than preserved.

The US Troops are doing a LOT for the children over there but it is being ignored by the media, which is sad.
