I have had 3 photo facials done and the problem just resurrfaces soon after. Does anyone know a effective way to treat this problem? I am a naturally dark complected person because I have alot of indian in me and my mother says that her side of the family has a history of something called (mellasma) could this be what is going on ?if so how do I treat it?

Please see a dermatologist. He/she will determine the best course of treatment for you based on the degree of pigmentation, size of the area, cause of the pigmentation and on your skin factors.

There are many options available but only the dermatologist will know the best option to have successful results. Treatment can include:
creams
lightening products or bleaches
exfoliation
chemical peels
light freezing of the skin
microdermabrasion
laser treatment

Trying over the counter products often results in a worsening of the condition or even complications such as white spots, darker spots, scarring, etc. A dermatologist is the best way to go. Good luck!

I am sure you are plenty handsome just the way you are. Instead of worrying about bleaching your skin, why don't you find activities to boost your self confidence? Every single person has insecurities about some part of them. No one is perfect. Having a big nose isn't a bad thing. It was the way God made you and I am sure it fits your face just fine. Once you reach college and you have a stable place to live without moving I am sure you will make plenty of friends who like you for you, and there will be so many kids in your college that you can hang out with people who speak properly and no one will make fun of you any more for being yourself. Please try to see the beauty in yourself.
