Hello all! I am sick (My throat hurts, my nose is running, I am tired cos I woke up at 5:30 and went to bed last night at 11:00) and I hate being bored so what do you do when you are sick?

Oh greaaat, I have school tomorrow! I can only miss 5 days in the WHOLE YEAR so I will probably have to go to school tomorrow!

Sleep, read junky magazines, maybe watch a movie if you're so inclined. Call your friends, surf the internet, write a letter. If you feel up to it, pull out a drawer and organize it while you lie on the couch--you won't be bored and you'll accomplish something at the same time. Maybe make a To Do list for when you feel better. Or dream up other lists--places you'd like to visit someday, books you'd like to read, movies you'd like to see, activities you'd like to try, etc. Give yourself a manicure or pedicure or facial. Take a long, steamy bath or shower. Draw or doodle. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, treat the day as a mini-vacation from your usual responsibilities. Hope you feel better soon!

Read a good book.
Plan your week.
Research the things you've been wondering about.
Work a puzzle or play a game.
Watch videos on YouTube.
Answer questions on Answers. :)

Lots of rest is the key. You may find you need 12 hours of sleep each night, so don't set that alarm. You'll be most comfortable in a warm, humid environment. It's also important to drink lots of water. This makes mucus flow more freely and helps with congestion.

Drink lots of tea w/honey and water (to flush out bacteria). Watch some funny dvd's or whatever genre you enjoy. And sleep a lot.

Rest, drink lots of fluids. Eat things easy on your stomach. Some people think chicken soup helps.

Take some tylenol or motrin, sleep, drink plenty of fluids, eat what you can, watch movies, and read.
Feel better, sucks to be sick.

watch tv, surf the web. stay in bed. u can take some medicine to make u fall asleep. i suggest u stay in bed. u can listen to music....there really isnt any thing fun to do while being sick.

i too have same problem.the best way is chating with friends
or sleeping till u can

watch tv!!! read, video games, pretty much anything that you can do in bed...call someone up or email someone
