If you understand the true nature of life , you can make this human life wonderful.you know that when yu were born yu were no different from any other person and both had no name , no memory of anythg and had a clean slate in mind .Afer yur birth you learned so many things from your parents , sibilings and all around you and the teachers .You acquire university degrees and earn lot of monies .you live a comfortable life with your parents , wife and children .you see all The ups and downs of life and reach a stage when you have nothing else to do. After the completion of your life , one day you die and when you die , all that you acquired after birth , you have to forget and leave behind to be eligible to go ,You do not remember even your name .Nothing you acquired after birth is yours -including the body with which you were born,.for the body is left to be cremated or burried under the earth as it is made of the matter procured from the same earth. If we realize the fact and truth behind this , we shall have no need to be worried about anything .The mind has to be trained to realize this fact .The absorbtion of the mind in the envanescent mundane matters sink us into the maya of some permancey and ownership, of all that we think as ours .Nothing -absolutely nothing is ours .This truth need not make you a sanyasin..You know that the benches in the park are not yours ;.but still you go and sit on them for a while and enjoy looking around .You are happy though you know for sure that nothing in a public place is yours.. So even if you are aware that nothing you own is alo yours , you do not have to be frustrated and unhappy.Yo can still be happy and take care of them as you take care of a public property. This is an essential part of the Hindu philosophy.

By being ourselves and hurting no other human beings or life! In love, we can do so much to make life wonderful for ourselves and others. What is love? It is the realisation of onenness as indicated in a small book I read many years ago entitled "The Reason To Love" by a gentleman whose name I have just forgotten.

do what you love. 'buy time' to make this so bit by bit, if you believe this can't happen immediately. help others, because you seriously forget your problems the moment you get absorbed helping someone worse off than you. love others and don't try and control them, let them be. eliminate negative beliefs about yourself, dig deep and find out what they are and where they're coming from. reprogramme yourself the way you want to be (NLP, anthony robbins, the forum, the secret, lots of modalities that teach this.) forgiveness so you don't hold onto anger or guilt. break down fears bit by bit by stepping out of your comfort zone in little ways regularly. it gets easier! do something new so you don't get in a rut. stop repeating the same experience/emotion over and over, you've been there done that. stop living in the past and get in the present. oh and stop worrying about the future too. do something about it now, or else just realise it's just a fear based fantasy that is wasting your 'now'. learn how to be happy with what you have got, glass half full, not complaining all the time. be grateful. move on from the people in your life who drain you and let the time and energy you save make room for new people in your life who support and uplift you. don't live beyond your means, (running up consumer debt on credit cards, which is like a form of slavery to the future!) because you will get stressed about money and this will take all your energy. anthony robbins says there are six basic human needs -

Certainty/Comfort. We all want comfort. And much of this comfort comes from certainty. Of course there is no ABSOLUTE certainty, but we want certainty the car will start, the water will flow from the tap when we turn it on and the currency we use will hold its value.
Variety. At the same time we want certainty, we also crave variety. Paradoxically, there needs to be enough UNcertainty to provide spice and adventure in our lives.
Significance. Deep down, we all want to be important. We want our life to have meaning and significance. I can imagine no worse a death than to think my life didn't matter.
Connection/Love. It would be hard to argue against the need for love. We want to feel part of a community. We want to be cared for and cared about.
Growth. There could be some people who say they don't want to grow, but I think they're simply fearful of doing so—or perhaps NOT doing so. To become better, to improve our skills, to stretch and excel may be more evident in some than others, but it's there.
Contribution. The desire to contribute something of value—to help others, to make the world a better place than we found it is in all of us.

and i reckon at any one time, we are chipping away at the one we don't seem to have enough of.

A sure way of making this human life wonderful is to explore the wonders of your inner self. Start from within (practice meditation) and see yourself at peace and overflowing with prosperity. Isn't his a wonderful life?

As a whole, I do not think we can.
As an individual, how I did this, was place my trust in God and Christ Jesus. I not revolve my life around making money. I live simple, not wanting everything and God makes it, well, interesting to say the least.

Share your hard earned food to others who needs it. Not what you have got through lottery, huge profits from your businesses, pronographic industry, looting, robbery etc. which are not sins for many in this world because it returns more money, fame and opportunity to probagate their celluloid gods.

Help others. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, help your elderly neighbor with yard work, tutor a child.... there are many ways to help people. You will be rewarded with knowing that you gave of yourself and that it meant something to someone in need.
