This situation is a bit different. This is a family business that Jr has put sweat equity in to it. He won a Busch championship while he was paid $500 a week and living with his sister. All his merchandise sales went to DEI for several years before he even got a cut of them. He should have been able to leave DEI with something and he wanted the 8.

The real question will be who will be in the #8 next year. If it is a popular driver, fans may be more willing to support the driver and the sponsor.
As for the #15, is Menard a popular driver? He is in the top 35 after buying owners points.

I think she will be boycotted bez of the way she done Jr not letting him have the company his dad started it was for Jr anyway not Theresa so i dont she why she has any dealings with it i bet the company was left to Jr anyway if the truth would be known

No that would be childish. The fans are taking all this way harder than the people involved. Jr will get a new team and a new car. Lets move forward instead of dwelling on who did what etc.

Well, knowing some die-hard Jr. fans myself, I think not only will Jr. fans boycott whoever drives the 8 . . . they'll most likely boycott the entire D.E.I. team, as well as anything to do with Theresa herself.

no i think not cause if we did something like that we would be no better there her.i feel she will lose that company really soon.by soon i talking in about 2-5 yrs.i dont think she has a driver 4 the 8 or a sponsor.

Well that all depends,if the new sponser is any kind of ice cream company,then count me out of the boycott.But if it has anything to do with buying stuff like at Lowes where I have to do work,I'm in.Boycott.Boycott,Boycott.

I don't think they need to do that, DEI seems to be tanking hard enough on its own. You don't want it to completely fail. Just want it to fall enough for her to sell it to JR and his siblings.
