with dogs?
Just a fun sort of question.

Hi Dobie :) Funny you should ask!! I was just doing that very thing!!
Once my dogs saw I was lounging on the couch I ended up with a 140 pound Saint Bernard laying across my chest and stomach kissing my face (well, it was mostly drool) and a 120 pound Newfoundland crushing my feet cutting off any circulation! THEN my husband wanted to try to squeeze on the couch!!! Poor guy... there was no room for him :)

A thorough face-licking from my dog, then a nap. My dog (and my parents') is currently napping anyway, I'm sure I'd take a cue from them. I'd get asked for petting, maybe some paws in the face (my dog likes to give five... a lot), and then a nice, warm, nap on pillows that smell like dog. Yum. :)

My female Rottie would come over for her favorite thing... a cuddle session. She has a particular way she likes to have situations like this go. First, she gives a couple, well intentioned though slobbery kisses. Then she lies down right next to me with her head on my chest, flips over onto her back and demands a belly rub. If no belly rub starts she will cover her face with her paws and look out at mehrough them. If I am still too slow to catch on she will squiggle on her back, rub her head into my chest and wag her little 'stub' of a tail. That always works on me. When she finally gets a belly rub she will fall asleep with her head on my chest and a giant grin on her face. I do, and would take a nap with her.

If with my Bull Terrier: Bully kisses - which can go on for several minutes. Not so with my Dobes or Rotts. With them, its a quick inspection of the body and then they take some position near me ... I think to protect me from those who might disturb my rest. What's interesting is to see what they do when I get up from laying down. They will get up themselves and go about their business. Job done?

I am not sure what your question is. All I can tell you if I laid down with my dogs right now I would have 8 Shih Tzu and five puppies all over me. Humm even if I laid on the couch that would happen to me. Humm never mine I am setting and I have them laying at my feet. humnn What was your question lol

lol... my dog just loves it whenever we lie down with him. My daughter and I snuggle up with him and watch TV. He makes a great pillow. :-)

I would get dog kisses :) And then I would probably get sleepy and take a nap w/ dogs :)

My Mom used to say If you lay with Dogs "You will get Fleas" LOL I love to snuggle with my Dogie Family!!!Fleas or what ever!
