Maybe say something to him like you wanna go into town this weekend and see how he reacts

If he won't do anything, it may be that he does like you, but is nervous on how to approach it. I would suggest stepping up to the plate, and you invite him somewhere. Invite him to your house or to the movies or whatever. After 4 or 5 times you do this and he still doesn't make a move, try making on of your own. If he likes you, everything will go smoothly, if he doesn't, you'll know. You can't this to happen with a snap, it needs some time. You got to take it slow and plan out your approach.

maybe it shouldnt be "hey wanna come over to my house after school" maybe it should be something a little less personal in the beginning. invite him to the mall or something fun and friendly like mini putt putt. the more time he spends with you means he gets the chance to like you as more than a friend

I'm so glad that your friends don't all wear toilet seats around their necks. You would have to run down to home depot and pick one out. It is ok not to have a boyfriend, actually it is wrong to want a boyfriend just because your friends have one. This is just a form of peer pressure.

He likes you. But he is nervous. Maybe you should try and make the first move. Guys like that in girls too. That way he knows you like him to and he wont be so shy. Good luck girl.

You might have to take a hint, if he hasn't invited you over, or made amove to insinuate that he wants to be more than friends, then maybe he doesn't?
