The best thing that you can do is apologize to the mom. And tell ur nephew that it was wrong. They're only 7 and 10. I don't know where they learned that kind of stuff. Just tell the boys mom what happened, and she should do something.

It is probable that the 10 year old guided the 7 year old to "play doctor" Kids are exposed to sex all over the place these days...I would let your sibling know what occurred and then talk to the boys about keeping "privates' private. They are probably embarrassed they got caught and won't go down that road again for a long time. Let the mother of the girl handle her situation her own way. Your sibling needs to start talking to the boys about sex now, obviously they are curious. On a side note, I work in a preschool and I have a parent that is an ER nurse, last week her ER had an 11 year old girl come in pregnant by her 10 year old neighbor. This is not some back hills community either! There are some great books and pamphlets out there about having "the talk" Good Luck!

I will answer you with an example to something that happened in my own life when my daughter was 7 and playing 'doctor ' .
She not only got a severe tongue lashing but also a very effective punishment on her behind . I don't know about all the crippled psyches in other folks , but for my own kid it was impressive enough to turn her into an all around normal, productive adult who is now 57 years old !
I hope you do more than just beating your gums and do not ignore this .
If you are unsure yet then please do get professional counseling so she gets the message .And by the way the boy is involved so he should get the same .

well i fyou make big deal and raise cane then they will know its not good they have seen this somewhere. you need to talk with each child and really let them know its wrong and why. they cna't understand all of it but they will get the idea it was either seen by tv or something they should not have watched or ehard or seen.

probably let them know that is inappropriate behavior, and to keep their clothing on?
i take it the girl must know something about sex? you could let the kids know that while sex isn't "bad" it's not something children need to be doing -- and that it's an adult activity.
kids do this sort of thing from time to time -- experimenting...
