anyway I am anemic and the doctor tells me to eat green leafy vegetables such as asparagus, along with beans, such as chili or soup beans...etc, but here is a website with them all listed!

One thing that I am not sure about is the website above says that spinach is not a good source of iron that it actually takes away from the absorbtion. I always thought that any green veggies esp spinach were good, so I checked webmd.com and they say that it is a good source...so go with your instincts.

From vegetable , Spinach , Celery, Brocoly are high in iron .
From grains , Lentil & bean are high in iron.

2.fish & shellfish (clams, sardines, oysters, tuna)
3.dried beans (soy & baked beans, lentils)
4.dark green vegetables (spinach, broccoli)
5.dried fruit (apricot, raisins, prunes)
