I am looking for a good website on mid wales...I am looking up the history of my relatives who came from mid wales...and would like to know all about the towns and countys,,which would make it a lot easier when you are doing your family tree ...it is all very confusing..so if I had a map maybe it would be a lot easier to find people...

I think what you actually need is called a gazetteer.

http://www.gazetteer.co.uk/
http://rmhh.co.uk/maps.html

and for a much more modern map
http://www.multimap.com/
the gazetteer is excellent and I'm sure you will find what you need on there. If you have any problems just edit your question and I will see what I can do for you.
