Don't worry about your cat she is fine. My friend has a cat who was like this. It has taken her 3 years to settle down and she is still very jumpy and doesn't like to be held. If you have not had her form being a kitten it may be because she has been mistreated. As for drinking out of the toilet mine drinks out of the pond which is full off pond weed and frogs they don't seem to trust tap water. Also female cats are the primary hunters in the wild which is why she spends so much time hunting. Her size is probably normal my cats skinny epically in the summer, but if you are very worried about her weight take her to a vet.
PS it might be a good idea to worn her if you can't get the vet to do it.
PSS DO NOT give your cat milk they a lactose intolerant or just the flesh of meat ie a chicken leg. This could make her ill as when cats eat pray they eat it all including the stomach content which has fibre (from grass, seeds, fruit ect) in it by feeding only flesh the cat suffer from deficiencies. Ask you vet about feeding if you are not sure.

Yes, I must agree take her to the Vet. She may/could get sick from all that hunting. Don't let her outside anymore. Tell her she's been permanently grounded. It's not that she 'can't like you', it's that she's extremely feral. It's why she doesn't sleep with you at night. It's why she spits and growls when you try to put her on your lap. The cat I've used for my avatar was feral and a very pissed off cat when I adopted him. He would run when I tried to pick up and once even bit me. For that I gave him swat hard enough to drive the point home to him that I'm the master, but not enough to hurt him. He would still spit and growl when I picked up, but he soon realized I was going to pick him whenever I wanted many times a day. It took more than a year but he finally calmed down and stopped spitting and growling when I picked him up. It just takes time, patience and the cat realizing it's receiving love and attention. He now sleeps with me every single night. He'll eat what I give him, but after a while refuses to eat the dry and wet mixture I give him in preference for all dry food. He would rather starve than not get his dry food. Cats can be very picky eaters.
As for her drinking out of the toilet, just keep the lid closed. My first cat would do the same thing and keeping the lid closed solved that problem real quick. If she can't drink out of the toilet anymore, she'll soon be forced to quench her thirst at any source of water which you've placed down for her. She's so skinny because she's probably malnurished. Don't let her out of the house or the apartment. Don't give her even one scrap of human food. Cat food is very carefully formulated to provide cats all the minerals, vitamins and nourishment cats need for good health. Take her to the Vet and tell him/her what she does all the time. Don't give up on her. If you find yourself giving up on the care of an animal, you'll never be ready to care for a human child.

She's just a hard case...leave her alone (except for giving her all the care she needs) and let HER come to YOU.
I have one pretty much the same, even refuses to drink water from anyplace but the toilet.
As long as she's spayed, she's just fine. Some cats just don't have a sense of humor, as I learned with mine.
The skinny-ness is probably due to tapeworm...a cat that hunts gets worms, fact of life.
Tapeworm can also be caused by eating a flea accidentally while grooming.
There's a pill called drontal (or droncit) you can get from your vet it's about 20.00 and give it to her in the fall- beginning of winter.
You'll notice that she'll get a bit heavier in winter, then when spring/summer comes she'll get skinny again.
It's just how she is...don't take it personal. If you want a sweet cat I'm afeaid you'll have to get another cat but keep her, she'll eventually come to you if you don't bug her, maybe.
Sounds like it's her way or the highway, huh?!
Hope this helps...

hi, i understand the sensation. attempt to get those all fastened as quickly as poss or you will commence getting overrun. I at the instant have 13 and that's concerning the decrease ( yet i'm a sucker for a real emergency ) verify you have sufficient muddle trays ! BTW a loopy cat lady lives around the corner from me - final I heard she had sixty 3 cats and kittens, an airlock association with exterior doors and a conservatory in basic terms for them. contained in the favored climate she keeps the residing house windows close to stop them getting out and none of them are neutered.

Heres the thing. Im working at a cat home. A place where people send their cats to, when theyre goin on vacation. I know its not a good job but im an expert with cats. All u gotta do is be comfortable with her. Scratch its chin gently, she'll love it. Massage her from front to back. And the food, u might wanna try giving her a fried chicken leg. And dont forget that cats love milk.

I suggest you take your cue from your cat. Try feeding her the frozen fresh cat food you can buy from the freezer cabinet from your pet shop, but don't cook it. If she is a hunting cat you will have to let her come to you when she feels she can trust you. Some cats though just don't enjoy mollycoddling and she may be one of them. One last tip, thank her for bringing you what she's hunted even if you don't like it. You can then try stroking her head slowly whilst praising her.

Sounds to me like she just loves her independence.
Few questions though - is she feral, or were her parents?
That could lead to straying and destructive personality.
I truely believe, however, that the pet should choose its owner and not the other way round - if they choose you, you've got a good bond, my cat chose me and we get along great, my last cat - I chose and she was a nightmare (very like yours in fact) and we found out later that she was part feral - hence why I asked.
Best of luck to you and your cat
xx

Cats are very independant, their instinct is to hunt, if she is bringing her kill into the house she is viewing you are part of the her family,
cats get skinny if they have worms,
cats arnt really the most loving creatures anyhow.
if your really worried take her to vet

Was she an adult cat when you got her?
Sometimes you just have to go with the character if they are already developed.
Maybe bring in a second cat, that may calm her down.
Try a kitten this time.
Best of luck.

some cats are just like that, My daughters cat is like that towards me minus the hunting, he's an indoor cat. and my cat is the most loving almost co-dependent critter I ever seen. I treat them both the same so I believe it's just the way their personality's are.
