I believe personally that once he finds the right woman not only will he be "tamed" but will be a very good partner in a relationship. His heart will be focused only on the woman who was capable of taming his heart and he will be in heaven. A lot of these guys just don't think that there is one woman who can satisfy them but once bitten by the love bug they become little boys once again and the world looks brand new.

No one can be tamed into anything.
If the womanizer decides he wants something different, then it will change, but nothing anyone else does or says will turn him around. Some people have insecurities that don't allow intimate, committed relationships. They will either deal with it or continue the same behavior until they are either unable or unwilling to do it anymore.

I think it's possible but only if he really wants to be tamed. You can't tame anyone that doesn't want to be tamed.
I have seen one become monogamous, but it did happen when he was beginning to age (late 40s) and thinking about who would take care of him when he was older.

Marriage is not about love, and sex, though, of course, it is vital, but marriage is dedicating oneself to the marriage, to living a better life, so, yes, a womanizing bachelor can be committed to a marriage, but, it has to come from deep within him.

It's not about old age, it's when they feel ready, if they ever do. Don't force it. They may never be ready, but there is nothing wrong with that
