Telegrams are effectively dead.
Fax is OK if the place where the reception is being held has a fax machine. But phone before you send the fax and phone after you've sent it to make sure it's been received and will be passed to the best man at the wedding at the start of the meal.

How about a cluster (say 3 ) Foil Helium Balloons sent in a box and ask the Hotel/Venue staff to present the box at the time of the speeches. Then when the box is opened the balloons float out! They usaually have weights on them so won't fly up too high. Card shops sell inflated balloons then all you need is a box big enough and a nearby Post Office. This is something that you can do yourself and send to the hotel with a covering letter.

What do you mean?
Like send a card to say congrats? If thats the case, get the address from the bride and groom and post it with a covering letter to explain. It will then be given to the best man to read out at the speeches.
I was able to send a bottle of wine to a reception that I couldnt attend, just by giving credit card details to the receptionist over the phone. She then placed the wine in the bedroom with a little note from us. I thought it was a nice touch.
Hope this helps!

uncertain as southern eire is comparable as sending a letter out of the country from England so its so lots better than a 1st type stamp. it could get binned lost or the reciprient pays better. It actual will nt get there 1st type. Its like seding a letter to Australia 1st type. Months later. Northern eire might have ben high-quality as its area of the united kingdom however the southern area of eire continues to be separate.
