Not at all.
I feel better without having to be mindlessly involved in any religious bickerings.

There was a long period in my life when I yearned for something more. I searched for spiritual solutions in a lot of different ways. I eventually found the answer to my problem, mainly from Buddhist literature, but also from psychology. My problem was basically that I didnt know how to appreciate my life simply as it was. Ive learned how to deal with suffering when it comes my way so I dont really live in fear of future troubles. Ive managed to work through some pretty major troubles in the past, so I have a lot of faith in my ability to persevere when necessary and then to overcome whatever obstacles I encounter. Im quite content these days and dont feel like something is missing. I dont really have a need to believe in God anymore.

Well Cindy now you know. The trolls will answer your question with their usual ire. While I understand your good intentions and desire to share something that is beautiful to you and me the bottom line is Matthew 7:6 applies here.
For you trolls. "me thinks you doth protest too much" Why do you bother with questions like Cindy's at all. She does not want to hurt you (although there are others among us Christians that wish there really was a hell and hope you find it). I assure you when you are meeting your end (and you know you will) YOU WILL FEEL A HOLE. Have a nice day while you can.

Everyone has that 'hole'. Some people take solace in religion, others in drugs or alcohol, some overeat. Everyone has an 'escape', something that gives them comfort. In the end, no one knows 'the truth'. I'm glad you have faith in your god, but I don't think your methods are very Christian. Posting that question is like walking up to a cancer ward and saying,'Well, did getting cancer teach you to stop smoking? I told you so....' It's just rude. You should be happy that you have faith. It's a wonderful thing, not something to throw up in other people's faces.

No. Another myth perpetuated by the church. I left the church 40 years ago and feel nothing is missing, quite the opposite - for example, right now I'd be groveling to some imaginary god instead of relaxing, getting ready for an afternoon with good friends and good food.

Jesus is part of a big lie perpetuated by the Christian church whose only intent is to retain the power of control they have over the populace.

Yes. My house is very close to the edge of a cliff, and I do require a heart transplant or I will die (due to the hole in it). Separation from Jesus is so painful.

People will not feel something "missing" if they do not acknowledge that there is a hole in the first place. It is sad but true.
