Most people think this is odd. Baked pears. I drain a large can of pear halves and place in a pan. In the dip in the middle I put mayo, a small slice of Cheddar cheese, and sprinkle with paprika. Bake until the cheese melts. Serve warm or cold. They are delicious.

A good strong lancashire crumbly cheese sandwich made with either strawberry or blackcurrant jam...mmmmm delicious! Even nicer made and then toasted...careful though the cheese can melt everywhere!! Also love real salad cream with hot chips, salt and vinegar. Yummy!

lol, that's a great idea for a party!! if people were open-minded they would probably discover some things they actually really liked :-) i have several weird combinations - i love ketchup on mac & cheese and scrambled eggs & most meats, syrup on scrambled eggs & bacon & sausage, ranch dressing on pretty much anything that isn't a dessert, bagels with cream cheese dipped in soup, & sugar on buttered rice or pasta. peanut butter tastes good on carrots, & i remember as a child trying applesauce with canned tuna & thinking it was great (haven't had it since then though! :-p) interesting question, i love reading other people's answers!

Vegemite and rice bubbles (or sometimes coco pops) on really fresh white bread with real butter. When I was pregnant, I was having peanut butter, lemon butter and beef stock powder on premium biscuits. The sweet and the salty together was delicious.
Melted cheese and peanut butter go well together too. Oooh and Macca's chips dipped in the chocolate topping in the sundae.
Have a great day/night!!!

Jam and cheese on toast or English muffins is great. I guess I don't think of that as odd.

One of my favorites that friends think is odd is roast beef with a slice of raw red onion and a thick slice of bleu cheese on rye or pumpernickel bread.

Mine isn't odd to me cos I'm British, but it's odd here in America: ketchup on french toast. I dowse ketchup on a tons of stuff, bacon, eggs, anything. I can't stand watching bacon, eggs and french toast smothered with maple syrup, it grosses me out!

I used to dip french fries in different kinds of salad dressings. Not that it is odd, but I know it wasn't for everyone. I even tried french fries in blue cheese dressing. I wouldn't say it was great, but not half bad either.
Honey mustard and ranch are very good.
