I cannot support the U.S. saying 'no' to all immigrant citizenship. We have existing immigration laws that are for the most part reasonable and sound. We could probably make some adjustments to improve them, but wholescale change is not required. Our laws are no more stringent than most other countries.
What it IS time to do is
1) protect our borders
2) enforce the labor laws we have in place
3) arrest and deport all illegals
4) punish employers who are not compliant with out labor laws
5) cut off access to taxpayer financed social services to all illegals.

It's time to repeal the 1996 law that allows children born on U.S. soil to illegal immigrants to be citizens. Children born on U.S. soil to lawbreakers should not be citizens of the USA. They have no loyalty to the USA and they learn what they live -- to disobey and disrespect the laws of the land. So, yes, in part it is time to say no to immigrant citizenship -- illegal immigrant citizenship and children of illegal immigrants citizenship. All those who came here legally and are obeying the law are welcome. Are now, always will be and always were, welcome. Illegals and their children will never be welcome and by their own doing have established another class of subculture. We don't want our children associated with lawbreakers and scofflaws and we don't want them living next door to us or going to school with our children or even working with us.

Legal immigrants have always had a path to citizenship. There's no reason to change that.

No way. This country is built by the sweat & blood of immigrants. Bring 'em on. We want more immigrants, not less.

No, it's time to load the wagons and drop them off at the same bridge, creek, or broken fence they came through. Citizenship is a whole new issue; they do not get to that level because they do not deserve it legally.

No. It's time for the U.S. to grant citizenship right to the illegals.
They can give them Socia security cards and start taxing them.

No. Why should the path by which many of our ancestors became citizens be cut off for newcomers?
Stop the illegals, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

No, immigration is good, but unlimited immigration is tearing us apart. Immediatley deport those here illegally, and use military force to keep our borders secure.
