What do you think that hell is? And physically what would it be like?

I believe it, I can even feel it in my life, when I was in anger.
It's sooooooooooo HOT!
I know why. My ego was hit or disturbed.
As I get older, my ego seems aware that it has nothing to offer, I dont have those feeling anymore.
So,......I am free from hell.

I think hell is a condition which physically we can see as a violation.
Violation -->physically is actually much less damaging than mentally.

Understanding and excepting the differences of opinions , is the way to avoid hell. ( that's how I see it).

Physically? Isn't it the soul, not the body, that is supposed to go to hell? A soul does not have nerves or a brain, so how can it feel pain? That's why hell makes no sense to me. It is supposedly a place of suffering, yet the soul is a non-corporeal entity with no body with which to feel any suffering.

Ever heard of Darfur?

Sure, there are hells, places where we can go and suffer for a while, until we want to get out badly enough. Some of them may even smell of sulphur.
The point about hell - the really important point - is that it isn't permanent.

PS
I have an empty cup here Voyager. Any chance of a top-up?

You will be thrown in with the fallen angels that have hated humans from the very beginning. They are 10 times stronger than the strongest man. In the Bible hell is described as fire. Have you ever burned your finger? There is no light in hell. Burning sulphur would have the most horrible smell mixed with many other odors. This would be an eternal state for the damned. Since it is eternal, then the pain would be constant and pain would always be with the person.

This is what I have always thought hell was like.

It would be a place where you work 5 days a week and much of your money is taken out your pay and when you go spend what is left they take some more... It would be a place where you can be rejected just because you were born a different color...It would be a place where you don't know what your friend is thinking... Where red fluid easily falls from your body... Haft of the females are raped in their life and last but not least, a place with growing heat and melting ice caps.

When the King James Version of the Bible was written and the translators used the word 'hell' to refer to a hole in the ground.

Hell is where war kills innocent bystanders, where adults use little children for sex toys, where parents are so drugged up that they sell their babies to buy more drugs, where children go to sleep with nightmares of violence in the night, rat bites and dumpster shopping for their breakfast, where 7 yr olds are heads of the family, where mommy and daddy beat on each other and their babies and babies are taught to hate and use vulgar words. Where is here and now.

Alpha and Omega, for starters you aren't really the Alpha and Omega! The Roman Catholic community destroyed a great mathematician and philosopher. He was Blaise Pascal. He died from stomach cancer. He was a Frenchman. He published a book called "The Wager". He basically said you need to believe on the the chance that it is true? One problem with that is, there are several different faiths in the world? Nobody can say for sure what the truth is. I ain't saying love your neighbor as yourself, but doing onto others as you'd have them do unto you, seems pretty logical?? Try that. Also, don't feed your children all this religious stuff you've never understood yourself?

Hell is a concoction made up by relentless, would-be, controlling priests to try and keep us unruly humans from having a good time here on Earth. The priests were working for the power-holders, the controllers of wealth, and they knew that they had to keep us down by applying massive amounts of 'Fear', or we would cotton on to their game.

So ..... there is no 'Hell', there may be a 'hellish' state of mind, as Pope John Paul II stated in his papal audience in May 1999, but there is no such physical place.

For the best fantasy description of what such a fictitious 'place' might be like read Dante's Inferno.

But ..... be aware of his own warning ...

Canto 9, Line 11....

Abandon hope, All ye who enter here ! :-)))

When humans die they will loose their ability to think, feel, have emotions, see etc, so what is left is energy that is floating like a puff of smoke. Hell is not logical to me as how do you toment a sprit when it dont have a brain to know it is being punished in hell, no brain or nerves to feel pain, no body to torture or burn....that is my thought
