Islam, What a lovely peaceful tolerant faith? lol?

If you look at the revolting terrorist attacks in non muslim countries around the world, you see that almost all are caused by muslims; USA, Britain, Spain, Holland, Argentina, Tanzania, Thailand, India, Bali, Phillipines, China, Russia,(incl Ossetia), Israel, Serbia.

Religious violence around the world almost always involves muslims; Muslims vs Hindus & Sikhs in India, Muslims vs Jews in Israel/Palestine, Muslims vs Christians in Lebanon,Russia, South Sudan & Phillipines, Muslims vs Buddhists in Thailand, Muslims vs confucianists in China.

Religious persecution; Again always in muslim countries, Persecution of Christians and Yazidis in Iraq, Christians in Egypt, Pakistan, persecution of Bahai & Zoroastrians in Iran, christians and Animists in Sudan, total unacceptance of other religions in Saudi Arabia.

And if muslims are all "brothers" then why have they been mass killing each other for years in Somalia, Iraq, Sudan/darfur, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kurdistan, iran-iraq war, Algeria?

oh and i forgot Honour Killings, ingrained Mysogeny and Hypocrisy. I say hypocrisy as many muslims indulge in homosexuality(its unbelievably common among Arabs), visit prostitutes, take drugs, drink etc. Also a total lack of tolerance towards criticism of their faith and hypersensitivity.

PLEASE NOTE - I am talking about NOW, not what christians may have done in the middle ages etc, and not what Hitler did, he was an evil pig, but he wasnt doing his evil in the name of his religion. What the jews did to the Amelakites 3000 years ago is equally utterly irrelavent! Its a totlay stupid response!

Why is it that when a Muslim commits a crime, it is an Islamic crime, but when a Christian, Hindu, Jew, animist, or atheist commits a crime, nobody even mentions the criminal's religion?

Speaking of mass killings, who was killing whom in the US Revolution, the Civil War and World Wars I and II, not to mention the Spanish-American War? What religions the instigators, the leaders, the generals, and the soldiers?

Why were Christians killing each other then? Aren't Christians supposed to be brothers? (That's what they told me when I was growing up!)

In my lifetime, the US has been involved in the Korean and Vietnam Wars; in my parents's, these plus the two world wars. Are you suggesting that Muslims were the major participants in these catastrophic wars of the 20th century?

There is much that muslims need to learn from the teachings of Islam. Islam teaches that adulterers be killed, muslim apostates be killed, homosexuals be killed...What do these teachings indicate? That the religion is not able to accept different points of view, different lifestyles. What Muslims don't understand is that in tolerant societies they are not expected to commit adultery, homosexuality...etc. The only thing expected of them is to simply tolerate behavior which they might not like, thats all.
Why?
Because once the culture of not tolerating people who are different from you has set into society, it will cannot be clinically contained simply at killing apostates or adulterers. It spills out. Hence a sunni will regard a shia or a yezdi or anyone else as different from him. But for quite a lot of muslims this behavior does not stop at that. - That guy is different from us. Lets bump him off.
You see the same situation in Afghanistan (taliban vs non taliban), pakistan (shia sunni), Iraq (shia, sunni, yezdi), Iran (shia prosecuting bahais)........ yes even Saudi Arabia. The shias there live on lands which are oil rich but as a group they are the poorest due to policies of the SA govt. who are sunni wahabis. The oil wealth in muslim countries has to a large extent papered over these differences for the present.

I know I shouldn't be wasting my time answering this question, but I am going to anyway as you have only told one side of the story. Muslims have been abused in their own countries by other countries. In the past America has bombed Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq and so many other countries. It has also supplied weapons to Israel to attack Palestine. Many more war crimes have been committed against Muslims by America and other countries. So since America has bombed the most countries in the world, does that mean Christianity is to blame? Of course not, so don't blame Islam. Blame followers, and sometimes, people don't kill or blow themselves for the sake of it. 9/11 was just the effect of the oppression of Muslim lands by America + Israel.

NO - I didn't think so.
I know ex muslims who have converted to christianity. One such man was brutally attacked on the streets of Swansea by Muslims.
Their idea of conversion is to beat you until you say Allah.
Another story comes from Egypt. Two men had butchers hooks inserted in their mouth, down through the tongue and out through the jaw - they were dragged down the street this way - one died and the other was dumb for life - their crime - when approached in the market place and asked if Allah was the greatest - they paused for breath!!!!!!

You are totally correct. Islam is nothing more than a terrorist religion. It is based on a false God and false prophet. Personally, I'm just sick of hearing people say that Muslims worship the same God that Jews and Christians do. If Allah does exist at all he is a demon; not God.

That is an interesting take on things, and, in perspective, it is rather telling (wait....there are Muslims in China?). The terrorist thing is a product of the time (a possible self-fulfilling prophecy, in that we treat all Muslims as if they are terrorists, so, in response, they hate us and decide to blow us up), but the religious violence and persecution does suggest something legitimate about your argument (in fact, it seems that Islam is almost on par with early Christianity in such things!)

Try not to isolate one religious group on this.

It is not Islam that is causing the trouble but the whole of organised religion.

While Religion is still here we will still be stuck in this violent quagmire.

Religion needs to be banished for the world to succesfully move on.
