When ever I try to download a file my computer opens a window that asks me what to open the file with it says, mozilla(default), anyway mozilla will not open any of the files I down load, It gives
me an option to use another program, I just dont know which one and where to find it, so If someone could tell me what I need to do I would greatly apreciate it

Windows doesn't recognize the file extension, so it can't associate the file with an installed program, other than Firefox in your case.

To identify the file type AND the program needed to open it, go to:

When such things happen, it's recommended that you choose "Save to disk" option, then double click on the file when it's fully downloaded.

To prevent your computer from doing this all the time, reinstall mozilla firefox or change the settings.

Go to the top menu bar and search for the tab "Tools.'

And Click on "Options..."

Choose the "Content" tab and under "File Types", click on the "Manage..." button. A small window will pop up, allowing you to change settings for file opening.

Choose "Save to Disk", it will dave at your desktop.
