It's possible Odafe. Just be patient because without some type of control on your intake you are going to have to build muscle to burn that fat. Three hours of exercise will burn about 1500 calories, which is a lot of calories burned. At that pace you could intake 3000 calories a day and lose weight. I hope that helps you.

If you plan on exercising morning and evening, I suggest you don't do the same workouts for both times. It can only lead to fatigue, and no time for you muscles to rest. Also, if your doing it every day, it might not be a good idea, because your muscles need at least 24 hours of rest. This could vary depending on what your doing for exercise though, and 3 hours seems a bit extreme, I do an efficient workout that only takes about an hour.
If you can't stop eating junk food, don't try to just stop, slowing stop eating it, and try to find a vegetable or fruit you like to eat, and use it to replace the junk food, but don't eat it too much, or it won't help at all.
I hope this helps you.

If you are gonna exercise that much make sure you are alternating your workout, You didn't say what kind of exercise your doing. If it is all aerobic nothing wrong with it but is you are doing resistance you have to alternate muscle groups to give them a chance to rest and grow
As for your diet don't try to overwhelm yourself trying to change everything at once. Make small changes at a time. You are more likely to be able to change your eating habits by starting with small changes.
If you don't change your diet all the exercise will be for nothing because everything you lose will come right back as soon as you stop exercising

I hear you my friend... I can absolutely relate to what you're saying. Im also like you, I can be very committed in doing my daily exercises but I too can't stop eating junk food! If I have to be specific enough, CARBOHYDRATE-RICH foods!!!! God I just love em'!
Maybe you can still lose weight if you'll be really burning off more of what you ingest per day! Remember, the key to losing weight is: Burn more than what you take in!
But if you really want to be assured of losing weight, try to decrease your ingestion of these junk foods & when you are able to do that decreasing, try to eliminate intake of these foods. Along with this is of course, exercise! If you still can't stop eating em' try to eat them in smaller portions.. Everything in moderation is ok. At least you'll not feel deprived of what you usually eat.
Goodluck!

Low Carb Dieting Tip
Your rate of metabolism dictates how many calories you burn. Heredity, gender, age, body size. diet and nutrition, activity level, and your overall health factor in on determining how high or low your metabolism is. It is normal for metabolism levels to lower as a person ages. Because of this it is important to begin stepping up your exercise routines in your thirties and forties.

Maintain a Balanced Diet - Not only how often you eat is important, but your food choices are equally as important. Nurture you body with the appropriate balance of protein and carbs.
Eating whole foods rather than processed food gives your digestive system a workout that burns calories. For example: choose an apple over apple juice.
Workout with Weights - Building muscle mass will replace stored fat. As you build muscle tissue your metabolism increases.
Don't Forget Cardio - You need to get that heart rate up and breathe a little heavier. Twenty to thirty minutes of cardiovascular activity 5 days a week is recommended. Brisk walking or swimming are good. Or utilize exercise equipment (exercise bike, treadmill, or elliptical trainer)

I did lots of walking, but lost weight only to a certain extent. The right diet will help.
Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

It worked for me. I lost 40 lbs in about 18 months by taking up the sport of triathlon.
It probably worked because I fell asleep most nights before I could do any damage with late night snacks.

I agree with those who say Eat Healthier junk. Don't take pills! that is the WORST advise ever. Learn to like veggies, or Fruit at least. Fruit has sugar it tastes good. (it tastes like candy) eat whole grain pastas and breads instead of white processed foods.

the diet ultimately determines the body composition not the amount of exercise. imagine constructing a build with plans designed by top architect but using substandard building materials. the source of your calories are more important the the calories themselves. with out proper nutrition it's physiologically impossible for the body to function normal let alone at optimal levels of effeciency
