Why does it always have to be at night,
and very quiet and in a scary place like a cemetary or in a house where somebody died.
whats up with the fear factor?

Hello Celtic its so funny you say spirits from the corner of your eye.
thats the whole reason i asked this question.
Was driving last night and making a right turn and out of the corner of my eye saw this nut walking towards me, was caught at the light
and just knew he was going to walk up to the car, so I grabbed the pistol and locked the doors waiting on the freaking light to turn green, checked the rear veiws and nothing behind me.
It was a ghost i knew it was but it looked human no aspiration or anything.

Yes. I can see them day or night and most of the spirits were/are trapped in wrecked vehicles, homes, barns and behind bars where they had died suddenly before their time and it was almost always a violent death or heart attack or drug overdose. I can also see spirits of people who died and were not 'sent off' properly-I know of a cemetary that is very old and the slaves were buried along with Native Americans in unmarked graves who did not receive proper ceremony and are very upset. I've always been able to see spirits, especially when I was a young child. My mom would take me to places her uppity Realtor friends couldn't sell because the previous tenants or owners wouldn't even go back to get their stuff saying it was haunted. IF the spirits were evil or angry I would get literally thrown out into the yard or parking lot. If the spirits wanted to convey a message they would let me in, tell me and I would pass the message onto those who sent me in. I've also always been an auto writer. I learned to read and write since age 5. I still get called on to find 'lost' children, but need something they had either worn just previously before(not washed) or favorite toy to get their energy and scent from to find them (dead or alive) hopefully still alive. I now use my Bassett mix to help me find people who are missing locally with her nose as she is a sweet natured dog and is very gentle with anyone who has been hurt and is theraputic with children. Those are just a few of the things I do.
Ever heard of 'gray souls' or 'gray spirits'? They are those who committed suicide...sometimes even those who normally can't see spirits can see one just out of the corner of their eye.

Interesting. The walking dead may answer yes to this question. I mean the people with terminal illnesses and incurable diseases. They might feel that they are ghosts whether it's day or night.

Everybody is ghost!

Mostly people don't notice because they are too absorbed in thinking other things.

Are ghosts even real? Or just the thoughts in our head coming out when we have nothing else to think about?

Yes. In my room, light of day.

People just think it has to be dark and stormy out, which is ridiculous.
