This is daft but i seem to be really itchy under my boobs and my abdomen and back. Nothing to see at all. No spots or anything. The itchness is driving me mad especially under the boobs but it also feels tender too. I take daily baths and am not sweating excessively.
Anyone else had this?
I've tried E45 anti-itch cream but that did not help.
Have not changed washing poweders or foam baths or soap.
So I am baffled....and itchy!

Try some hydrocortison and canesten cream from Boots the Chemist. They are the only ones who do the two combined I think. It's probably a sweat/fungal thing under your boobs - I get it sometimes and that cream works wonders within a day or two.

Are you a pregnant, if yes there is a condition that causes itching in pregnancy and you just got to bear with it, anitihistamines will help.

Are you a drinker, itchy skin with no spots or anything can be the first sign of liver damage, see your doctor.

Sometimes the soap manufacturers change the 'recipe' of their products and they can suddenly start to cause allergies.

Try taking an antihistamine and using very mild products in your bath.

The older you get, the more you're likely to start reacting to things as your body gets sick of repeated exposure to chemicals.

Scabies can also cause intense itching around the breasts, abdomen, thighs etc.

could it be the bed cover on which you sleep? Change all your bed covers (maybe there is some micro organism there) Clean your skin with an anticeptic soap and apply mosturising cream to prevent dryness of skin. Also visit the skin doctor.

No rash? Could be scabies, maybe early stages. Don't think E45 would help cause it's either fungal or bacterial. See your doctor, he will probably give you a hydrocortisone cream.

Could be related to dry skin as one possibility but because of how much the itching is bothering you I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

Have you any other symptoms, Hyperthyoidism can cause itching all over your body but with no skin rash or anything. I would take some piriton. Exfoliate and Mosturise and if it continues see you gp.

Are you taking Statins to lower your cholesterol? This can be a side-effect of these drugs. If not, it could be dermatitis, see a doctor he might refer you to a dermatologist.

Hi there, it sounds like you may need some anti-histamine tablets. Go to your local pharmacist and tell them, they should be able to advise you.
