Walk with a friend or borrow someone's doggy and walk for 45 minutes a day. Keep a journal. Borrow or buy dance videos or exercise videos for in-home dancing! No one's looking, go ahead and dance! I like the Becel Cooking and Topping Spray (in a spritz bottle) it has zero calories my friend! Yes!!!! Happy day!

You just need to go slower. Don't try to push yourself. You need time for your body to recover properly. Do only what you can do comfortably. That doesn't mean no effort it just mean you need to step it down a little. Break a 30 minute aerobic step routine into 3 sets of 10 minutes each with a 5 minute rest between sets. When you're done you're done. next time add just 1 more minute to your routine. You need to eat right as well. Eat what you like but only up to 1200 calories a day, no less. healthy is better but not everyone is a salad and broccoli kind of person. So spend the 20 bux on an 8 to 10 inch aerobic step. Grab a video from any second hand store and off you go. If you stick to this plan you'll lose about 2 to 3 pounds a week of healthy weight without starving or craving...good luck. You'll be looking and feeling great in no time!

You are already motivated to an extent. What exercise are you doing?
Perhaps you are trying too fast or too hard. It is usually recommended that you begin the exercise easily and then as you get into shape to pick up the pace and the length of time.
Those who try too hard usually get discouraged.
I have found that walking is a great exercise. Many say that it is better than running. You do not need special equipment and it can be done just about any time of day. You can also obtain a treadmill that is not to expensive and can fit when folded in a closet or underneath your bed.
Find someone to exercise with. It will make it more pleasant and a friend will provide motivation.
Good luck and do not give up.

Success in the fitness world depends on lots of different factors that are variable depending on the individual. Everyone will have their own methods for what keeps them focused and determined to keep working towards their goals, but there are a few factors that are common to most people. By ensuring that you are utilizing these concepts, you will help ensure that you will reach your goals in a productive and pleasurable manner.
1: Self-Efficacy
This has been shown to be one of the most important factors contributing to success in a workout program. Self-efficacy can be defined as your personal belief that you are in fact capable of performing the behavior or achieving your goal.
2: Family & Friend Support
Taking up a new exercise regime will require many changes in your daily schedule. You may have to give up some of the responsibilities you previously held in order to find the time to commit to exercising. With a supportive family and friend network, this task will be much easier.
3: A Positive Attitude
Having a positive attitude about your workout program will go along way to helping you stay motivated and committed. When you have positive thoughts regarding exercise, it makes it seem like less of a chore and more of an enjoyable experience to you. If you remain positive at all times, even when you may not be seeing all the results you dreamed of, you will still be able to stay focused and look at how far you have come.

well first figure out how much you weigh... then times it by 10. That's how many calories a day you will have to eat to make sure that your body isn't in starvation mode.. but if you are over 200 pounds then i would say just stick with the 1200 calorie a day thing. Then don't think of it as a diet... think of it as an healthy life style change. So instead of running 5 miles try drinking 8 glasses of water each day and walking for about an hour or two each day (10,000 steps is about equal to 5 miles) and see if a friend or family member will be willing to play a sport with you weither its basketball tennis softball... anything that gets you up and moving...
u can also do fun activities...
like dancing or swimming or if you have a trampoline you can on that... which burns a LOT of calories... you can also have pillow fights which burns 350-700 calories per hour!
And don't try any of the crash diets...
in the end you will just end up GAINING more wieght!
Just try losing 1-3 pounds a week. But just try 1 or 2!!!
And 2-3 months you will be 30 pounds down... and nine outa ten keeping it off :)
But remember don't think of it as a diet and exercise routine...
think of it as a healthy lifestyle change...
also you can look up your BMI or your resting calories burned...
but i would advise if your a teen don't worry about it 'cuz the changing of classes and stuff in school would get you moving and join a sport/ club or something :)
hope i helped
and
Good luck!!! :)

If you are that bad off and i know this sounds really mean but every day look at yourself in a full length mirror, naked and clothed. If you aren't happy with what you see TELL yourself you have to change it.... then go exercise. And exercise every day even if its just a little bit at a time pretty soon you'll be wanting to exercise more and more.

Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful. You have to force yourself to just go to the gym and start. I often feel like not going but if I can force myself to just go to the gym, I get motivated. I worked out at home for years and lost interest also..I find that if I step outside the house and start walking or running then I am also forced to go back that same distance back home. You have to want it, you have to have that little voice inside telling you and reminding you of your goals and aspirations. Post a pic up in your room or on your fridge to remind yourself of what you want. Ask a friend to call you up and make you do it too. Set small goals and move on from there. If you want it bad enough you will do it. If your goals are too big in the beginning and you can't fulfill them then you get discouraged. Just start out small and you will be surprised at how you can grow from that point.
Just do it girl..just do it, your strong enough and willing to come here and ask us to help...you have it in you to do this!!
Good luck!!

You lose weight by eating the right food, and eating less. I don't care what anyone says, but working out is always second to eating right. You have to be in shape first for your body to take a beating.

well I think the best way (if your never motivated to work out) is do it with a friend! If your friend is it in with you, together you will be more motivated to not just push yourself, but also push your friend. You just have to be able to motivate yourself and say I really don't wanna do this right now, but it in the end I will come out looking great.
