If there's no romantic love in Heaven why even bother with it on Earth? It all seems very pessimistic to me.

Why would God allow us to enjoy romantic love on earth, but then deny us a gift He gave us here?

is this based on Jesus teaching when He was asked about the one woman with seven husbands?

What we have to remember is this...what we experience here is just a taste of what we will experience there. circles, squares, triangles ...when there, spheres, cubes, pyramids..

Don't know exactly what it will be like...but I do know this..... from all I've read Jesus say about Heaven in teachings and parables, He's promised that I won't regret it, that what I get there, I wouldn't want to give up to return here.

The question you are asking really springs from a deeper root. Something inside you once/or still desires love from another human being. But what is that something? Have you ever asked yourself that? Did you know that the very thing that desires companionship also cause your other desires. Everything inside us springs from the desire to be made valid, something to redeem us. Within us all is a small voice that says "I need something to make me feel whole again." So we seek out human companionship to fill this void, unknowingly that we seek from those who also seek to fill themselves. How do you draw water from an empty well? In otherwords your seeking something that can't be filled by another human being because they too lack what you lack. In many relationships this is the root cause of the breakup. One person leaches while the other draws away. One is unsatified, and the other can't give satifaction. And so we move on, or give up.

Seek deeper into your question to find your motive, or reason behind asking it and maybe you'll find clearity.

Well, until NASA starts offering super saver flights to Mars or Jupiter, I guess we are stuck loving on this planet, which is okay. it would be very frustrating trying to kiss someone on Mars when their eyes would constantly be popping out of their sockets. Romantic love is a creation of God; and a very good one I might add. He did not create Adam and Eve and tell them to sit around the campfire and sing Kumba Ya! He placed two very beautiful and very naked people in a paradise He created....Albeit, Eros did not work well in Eden, but who's to say that this does not exist in Heaven. All love is a creation of God.

What exists on Earth is a false and dark reality. The world is evil. The higher celestial spheres of heaven are higher and within them hold the map for all mankind and all eternity. One must believe in love as salvation to discover its true nature and secrets.

You should love your country and the earth where you are living but above all, love God.
